List of all Issues Per Publisher Per year?

I'm trying to get a list of all the issues released in a year from Marvel and DC. I have a large archive and want to be able to compare against a complete list to find what issues I'm missing.

Might someone have examples of this before I start diggin in further? I find it's faster to generally ask before I spend hours beating my head against a wall :)

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. Do you want every comic Marvel and DC published in a single year? That is a huge list and you'd not have every issue of every title you don't have. If you want to see all issues per volume then compare that would be easier and quicker. But if that not what you want I don't really have an answer.
