Losing to base Shang Chi in a 1 minute in total fight, is enough for me to say Death Dealer curbs walker

Pre serum Walker doesn't exactly have wins either.

IIRC, Death dealer had swords and shit. The guy hung with Shang Chi for a while. He fodderizes Walker.

Even if DD has got a sword capable of one shotting Walker?

DD had those cool explosive throwing knifes, those are enough to win

With his shield he can block that and with his stats one or two shield bashes would take DD out.

Because John has the Serum doesn't mean he is stabproof. Death Dealer has kunais and is much more skilled than John so he cuts him to pieces. John Walker at least has the Shield to help protect himself but Death Dealer will eventually tag him and stab him anyway.

How would he block a sword strike from someone multiple times more skilled than him? How would he tag a far far more skilled combatant?

Just to be clear, how close do you think these two combatants are skill-wise? If Shang Chi was 100 in skill, how would you rate DD and John?

@rbt: I'd have to look at Walker's speed feats again, but with the serum he should be enhanced to the level of Steve if not beyond. So with superior stats he should be able to react to him.

Though now I remember that DD was able to hang with Shang's aunt for a while and she had wind powers, so perhaps you're right in that DD wins - as I hold Shang's mother above Cap (overall as a combatant not just skill wise) and his aunt somewhat close to his mother.

DD should be 80 or 85 and Walker from what I recall maybe 45 or 50.

Damn, half as skilled as Shang Chi? I'd have him no more than 20, tbh.

Well, I don't remember anything from Cap combat speed-wise that Shang cannot replicate. Peak humans have been able to keep up with super soldiers combat speed-wise in past as well. So not sure why Walker(or Cap) would be assumed to have better combat speed than Shang Chi and by extension, Death Dealer.
