Isn't Superman like highly susceptible to magic?

He shattered a planet simply by jumping off of it

He should be able to tank all attacks with the exception of the more haxxy ones.

Rebirth Superman is very inconsistent when it comes to magic, at times he has even been completely powerless against it, so i am not sure if he can clear this if he can't fight back.

First off there was no power fluctuation, secondly he has still been inconsistent with magic even after he merged with his new-52 self.

Also for the love of god, can we go a day on this site without someone resorting immediately to scaling Superman to universal... The character is far, FAR from anything universal. He literally got his ass beat by Enchantress who punched him around with magic enhanced fists. The concept of "outliers" is dead on this site.

It really depends on the magic users, like for instance he was completely depowered to human levels just by being inside a magical land with Batman and Wonder Woman.

It absolutely was not, such feats usually had context or were rare outliers.

This is Rebirth right? I vaguely remember that you know honestly its weird like on 1 hand he's supposed to be a fusion of PC and N52 so he should logically be stronger but so far he's just been getting the boot if anything

Eh it's just writers not caring really. Also thanks to Doomsday Clock new-52 Superman is his own seperate thing again.

Too many to be outlier more like "high end" if you don't like it and its for PC not Rebirth anyway only brought it up since Rebirth should scale to him even if his showings so far have been doo doo

There really aren't too many, there are way more feats of him getting KO'd or badly hurt by attacks that are planetary of far less in their potency. The universal feats are either outliers or have some context, like that one feat where he survived a destruction of a universe that everyone keeps using that was actually a dream and didn't even happen.

Question? Are we only using feats from Rebirth or can we use some from Post-Crisis and New 52 because they in Rebirth?

@ehnkr2beboh: I was trying to only use Rebirth feats because past Superman can either tank it effortlessly or he would get fodderized by magic, his vulnerability to magic is both consistent and inconsistent.

Not they aren't, literally not even close. Common sense also dicates they aren't, because Superman has fought 50 planetary and below threats before he fought a single universal one and he would struggle and often times get beat up by these planetary and bewlow threats.

Again there's too many of them to be outliers there's like literally 50 or so of them over the course of Post Crisis to many to dismiss like that go over them each of them and explain why they're missing key details of the story or something

I dunno where you got the number 50, but there aren't even close to that many, Superman is also not viewed as a universal level character, this is all incredibly silly.

Are you talking about where is thy sting? Cause if so Death literally said it was all real Superman only thought it was a dream because he had an elevated perspective on reality and the whole situation was a bit mind fucky as well

Yes i am talking about where is thy sting, it was all literally a dream sequence, he even wakes up with Lois Lane, this is why i say there is lots of context that people ignore. Not to mention Superman doesn't even tank the universe destruction himself, he was kept alive by Martian God of Death who doesn't even exist in any of the main timelines, either way it was all just a dream. I've even discussed it before with Superman experts and they are the ones that actually pointed out to me it was all a dream and nowhere does it say it's all real.

At his worst stops at 1. At his best casually clears.

There are planetary FTL characters in Fairy Tail? I doubt it, Superman should clear.

@shinne: Eh, he needed help opening bank vaults because they were protected with magic, he was completely depowered inside a magic world, etc... I don't think it takes planetary magic to just harm, especially since he seems weak to it, when even regular attacks that are planetary or less harm him all the time.
