Round 2, Since Rama seems to have more tools in his arsenal than Rocky and he can use use the environment around him he wins. Rama is also more brutal than Rocky, though Rocky is no lady.

Round 3, Now we have seen Rama being sliced by karambits, dude was shrugging it off his arteries bleeding to the point it was ridiculous. The thing is... even if Rocky caught him with a wrench hit, Rama could push through it without problems, but I'm not sure if Rocky would soak the death by 1,000 cuts.

These movies were shot at a time where MMA was painfully overlooked and the HW boxing champion was universally considered the best fighter and the baddest man on the planet. Rocky knows all there is to know about boxing and showed some fundamental knowledge of takedowns over the course of the series, but he certainly doesnt know all there is to know about grappling in general, nor striking in general.

Also, hogan was manhandling rocky all over the place until he got distracted and rocky jumped on his back and choked him full force.

Rocky knows all there is to know about FIGHTING. That is what was stated, not just boxing alone. That’s a great knowledge statement.

Go rewatch his street fight with Tommy. Tommy was actually winning when they just threw hands. But then Rocky started hitting crazy takedowns and trips, and beat Tommy up in the clinch. He was actually losing the boxing fight, but won with street fighting. And Tommy at that time was a dominant force and knocking out all the greatest boxers in the first round.

Thunderlips clearly caught Rocky unprepared. Right before their match, Rocky was talking about how they’ll just chase each other around and make it a show for the crowd. He was surprised when Thunderlips came at him with bloodlust. And then Rocky came back from that adversity and strangled him. He strangled one of the best grapplers in the world, who was also twice his size, after taking devastating damage and back breaks and stuff.

As far as I’ve seen, Rocky has shown MORE effective grappling than Rama. How many takedowns or strangles did we see in The Raid? Rama is 90% a striker and also relies on weapons. Rocky should obviously have the advantage with hands. Rama’s only advantage that I see could be kicking.

He was the most dangerous of all fighters in a fictional world where fighting = boxing due to the time period the movies were shot at. Thats my point. Same thing with heavyweight boxing champions in the 80s and 90s being considered the single best fighters on the planet when that title now belongs to MMA heavyweight champions.

Do you not understand my point? These movies were shot in 70s-90s. Other martial arts barely even exist in rockys world, because in the world as a whole other martial arts werent known in the 70s-90s, boxers werent called the best boxers, they were simply called the best fighters on the planet.

No he wasnt, tommy was only winning when he was attacking from behind, in both striking and wrestling rocky kicked his ass when he wasnt getting cheapshotted. And rockys "street fighting" was nothing more than boxing + basic grappling and takedowns wrestling teaches you in about 2 months.

Rocky didnt come back from adversity, he got beaten and thrown around like a misbehaving kid, then recovered when thunderlips let him, got up when thunderlips had his back turned focused on something else and choked him out from behind. Good strength and durability showing, absolutely 0 technique showing apart from rocky being able to apply a mean chokehold.

I dont even know who rama is bro, Im just saying rocky isnt much more than a terrific boxer with fundamental understanding of grappling. That all there is to know about fighting statement is simply a product of the time period the movies were shot at.

Also, Rocky is nowhere near the fighting god some people's painting him as. If you're only a boxer you're not reaching the pantheon of someone who is more versatile and have an vast repertoire than simply boxing. Rocky is nowhere near as versatile as even Rama's opponents let alone Rama. For every fight that Rocky won he won with great effort of his opponent and never with great ease. He didn't oneshotted Clubber, Apollo and Ivan, and walk out unscratched. This is a fallacy. So.... This means Rocky was regularly tagged and sometimes "rocked" (pun intended) by other boxers with more/or the same limited repertoire as him. A guy like Rama would slaughter him.

Rocky is nowhere near Rama. And he doesn't have a plethora of moves to say the least... plus Rocky never killed someone right? Rama is an killer. Rocky is an fighter.

That may be beside the point though. The first question should be how much can Rama hurt Rocky. The hitting power and blunt trauma soak in the Rocky-verse is fairly absurd.

It's been a bit sense I watched the Raid movies, so I could be wrong, but I don't remember Rama having superhuman hitting power.

Rama is law enforcement. His default isn't lethal either, also don't forget Rocky was a mob enforcer, before the Creed fight. So brutality is within his skillet.
