"Darkest spider-man story yet"?!

No it isn't. Back in Black and Kravens last hunt were far darker

I doubt they will. There was a time Marvel killed off Aunt May and almost immediately brought her back because they were afraid of changing the status quo so much. Bring Uncle Ben back to life as a main stay would be like bringing back Batman's parents: interesting concept, but it does take away a good chunk of the character's motivation.

@aros001: If they bring him, there's a 100 % that he will become a zombie, and then Ben will say that it wasn't how to supposed to happen, Kaine will appear and they would try to solve this.

Also I would really want to see Batman parents back. There was a story in which he get a chance to see ghosts of his parents and both of them were dissapointed. Batman reaction, Screw This.

@aros001@mkw69 Definitely, both those things are true, but what I mean is, I hope the furthest Uncle Ben comes back to life is the coffin they're (uncomfortably) hauling all over the place. I really, really hope Reilly doesn't actually even attempt to bring him back.

NOW that we know Ben Reily will have his own series, the stakes seem much lower here.

So, Peter is totally cool with havin Uncle Ben's remains literally got dug up like that ? ...Yep, this is totally not the Peter I know and love. It is a sad imposter. Not even talking about Ben Reiley because he is already lost with this stupid Jackal crap.

He was not cool with it. In the main Spidey book as soon as the idea of bringing his uncle back was brought up Peter socked Ben in the face. http://comicvine.gamespot.com/articles/preview-amazing-spider-man-22/1100-156270/

Even right now he seems very hesitant to go along with any of this and it's understandable why. He wants his loved ones back but he's still skeptical of it all and even questioning of if it's right or being done for the right reasons.

There used to be a list of comic characters that will never come back

-Uncle Ben

-Gwen Stacy

-Jason Todd

-Bucky Barnes

-Barry Allen

Four out of the five have come back and they're setting up the possibility of the fifth. Nothing matters anymore.

@zwm210: To be fair I doubt many of the clones will survive this except for a few special ones.

I don't see how having uncle ben back now would affect his motivations, he's een spider-man foir years and has got many more reasons to be, in fact having him around might even give him a lot more fuel, he wouldn't like to fail his uncle a second time. Also wouldn't it be funny t see May, J Sr. and Ben in the same room? The awkawrdness of seeingy your wife married again after years ofyou being dead? I would like to see that playing out

@shadowpro: No, not really. I don't think it would affect his motivations, but I think it would detract from the Spider-Man mythos.I think all three parties have been given enough grief over the years. But meh, to each his own, I guess. If I had to guess, I think Slott has enough respect for Peter Parker to not bring back Uncle Ben. He does love the character after all...

If Uncle Ben comes back, I hope Kaine kills him. Only character in this with a logical and believable moral compass.

@bjparks: well, just for the record, I'm not saying I'd want uncle ben back, just that it would be intresting if it happens, gwen, thsat's the one Iwant back, but it was clear to me she was most likely going to kill herself at the end of this, not sure if am the only one with this feeling, I believe that for her to bcome back, it would have to be a DC stule reboot preferibly with parker industries

@shadowpro: I gotcha. No Gwen though. The Night Gwen Stacey died was one of the best (and saddest) stories in comics.

@trust_this_786: Actually, they didn't. This Gwen is a clone, just like the ones in the previous Clone Saga.

It's been a good series so far

I disagree with u for the following reasons.

1. Marvel has run out of ideas for spiderman now (Spider Island and Spiderverse was great)

2. Clones Clones Clones why clones?

3. Why Ben Reilly as the Jackal makes no sense we loved the character to death literally and all that emotional death issue has gone to the toilet cause i really hate this guy with the connection of human emotion out.

But i am not changing your opinion it is your opinion i am just disagreeing.
