Is Man of Steel 2 necessary?

I, for one, think it should be number-one priority.

It doesn't need to be called Man of Steel 2 but yes DC flagship character does need a new film.

We should be talking about MoS 3 at this point but we aren't because DCEU/WODC doesn't know what they want to do. They would rather prioritize Birds of Prey, a Joker movie no one asked for, and Suicide Squad 2 over Man of Steel 2

Yes. It's honestly a joke that there's probably going to be (at least) 9 years between MoS and its sequel at this point.

Assuming it does come to fruition in such a way where it can even be deemed a sequel. Not looking good for Cavill Supes right now.

Yes. Superman’s character still has so much more room for development.

if you knew the facts …… you would know that they are currently in contract negotiation with Cavill, can you prioritize a film with no star? make it make sense

They already wasted supermans literal best storyline. They need to take a break and find a good director and a good cast to make the movie.

They should make it a priority. 100%.

We dont want another superman film, we just want more films like wonder woman and aquaman, that build development of characters, before throwing them together and expecting stupid people to pay for it

I do know the facts that have been reported so far... I am talking about we should have had a MoS sequel in 2016 or 2017; not a MoS sequel 2 coming out in the near future. A sequel where Superman is the main focus and it is Superman's storyline; not that BvS movie that came out.

And if that hypothetical sequel would have came out then, we would be talking about MoS 3 coming out in the future at this point.
