From Topps:
Says that:
- Pre hole Kenobi is back at prime ROTS level
- Pre hole Kenobi and Vader were equally matched skill-wise
- Kenobi “pulled strength” from Luke and Leia to escape the hole and defeat Vader.

Nice. Honestly, I really have no idea how can people deny this at this point when we have the director herself saying the same exact thing, quite literally noting that pre-hole Kenobi was in his overall prime, powers, and skill included, and that he and Vader were equally matched.
@xkodiak: agreed but I guess it needs to be spoonfed to some people
More evidence for Kenobi being amped and stronger than ever from the sound editor Matthew Wood:
You see Obi-Wan do some things that we’ve never seen before as far as his strengths are concerned. He’s picking up giant rocks and spitting them around and all that. So that’s just the dynamics of that mix and that balancing of that to feature those moments.
Vader fans will be in shambles when the visual guide proves that he lost to an exhausted Kenobi.
You guys should really take a step back from the scaling and cut out the "Vader's chest plate got smashed by rocks"
I came across this figurine which says that Kenobi at the end of the series is “stronger than ever”. It distinguishes mental strength (“more hopeful than ever”) with power (“stronger than ever”).
Although I do recall I found another figurine which said he was drained. Hidalgo indicated that those super long and detailed descriptions aren’t canon, whereas the short ones are. Also him being drained doesn’t make any sense or track with the vast majority of sources (Deb saying they can fight forever if need be, Insider saying he got the strength to overpower him, etc).
Anyway this would confirm that Kenobi keeps that power up.
star wars canon scaling is so funny. versions of characters a few minutes apart vary in scale by several tiers. absolute comedy. yoda lifts mountain then yoda struggles with tower. why even debate at that point. clearly different mediums with different writers do not care….why should we?
@emmafrostxmen: Isn’t that basically fiction in general from writer to writer? Though I get the point.
I’m pretty sure you’re the one who agreed that Obi got powered up. So… don’t see your issue here
We all knew Obi Wan was going to win. It’s stated in ANH.

i don't understand why "pulled strength from Luke and Leia" = amped. He is just fighting for the right reasons now. Deb Chow clearly thinks that Obi is just good enough to defeat Vader.

This is actually half true.
Deb does think he’s good enough to win. But Deb is also adamant that this is Vader in his prime and that he’s not any less powerful than KFV. So if Obi Wan can overpower KFV, that is what Deb thinks…
In fact, if we look at all of Deb’s statements, it is virtually impossible to come away with the idea of KFV as more powerful than OWK Vader. Such a stance is simply not justifiable.
So either Obi Wan was always more powerful than KFV (but held back) or he unlocked some latent power.
I suggest you read below:

Depends on whether or not he physically declines after.
”Stronger than ever” at end of series means the state he’s in at the end scene with Luke and Jinn is the strongest he’s ever been.
@frozen: Ben Kenobi>ROTS kenobi confirmed
Always has been.

Always has been.
Difference can be quantified through karbin scaling. Rots Kenobi is stated as hard pressed by grevious, and ANH Vader (who is =>ANH Kenobi) low diffed him
