Theoretically, if you were in his place, and god speaks to you daily and its 1996 BC-1821 BC
If you were Abraham, would you sacrifice your son to God?
Obviously.
Obviously.
God tailors His requirements for the specific individual involved; God doesn't give anyone more than they can bare, during this period of the Dispensation of Grace. What one individual can bare may not be what another individual can bare. However, if you're someone who has been left behind, such hard and unbearable choices will be required in the time of the Antichrist, except you'll also have visible proof of God's existence right before your eyes. And, yes I would pass this test that God provided to Abraham.
@sc: I'd obey it anyways, whatever thing can speak to me telepathically prolly shouldn't be messed with
Edit: But of course I'd have to verify that I wasn't just going crazy

You have sufficient expertise and understanding to verify that you aren't "crazy"?? Or do you mean to get verified by others?
@sc: Depends on the mechanics. If it's a message said through a burning bush or smth I'd get a friend to witness

Third party collaboration. Not a bad idea, decent! Thanks.
This episode of the binding of Isaac has been the subject of continuous controversy and various interpretations by theologians for more than 25 centuries, first in the Jewish tradition, later in the Christian and Islamic traditions. There are serious indications that the biblical text itself would have been modified several times following these controversies.
And, to the question asked, a significant number of you can simply answer "Obviously !" without asking the slightest question or seeking the slightest justification for the universally condemned act of infanticide.
Weird people !
