Q: Wiki editing privileges suspended?

When I went to submit some edits I was told my wiki editing privileges were suspended but I never received a DM explaining why. Was this a mistake?

I see no blocks. You probably happened upon a page that has some faults. Some pages have broken links, or some non-standard characters that the editor doesn't like anymore, those give an error when trying to save.

What page was it? I can probably fix it.

special characters like an ellipses (the single character "…" vs three periods "...") in the description will cause this message.

I have this same problem of editing privilege. How I fix it?

@nefarious: The Toranos page doesn't give me any errors. And since it doesn't have a description, it can't be broken links or non-standard characters.

Hmm. Ok. I'm trying to edit the default image for this page but it is says that I don't have 5,000 wiki points when I try.

I try, but I keep ending up in night hours, which might be bad in my 40 years of life.

@killerz: It has been over a week now. Is there a reason my new issue page edits are still not showing up automatically?

@nefarious: We decided to keep you in the queue a bit longer, mainly because there were some edits that added issues in the wrong volume and characters that already existed. If you show a good streak of edits then we can let you live edit.

I have this same problem when trying to edit Gladiator, Colossus, Captain Atom, Lobo, Black Adam, Darkseid and Doomsday.

While I no longer have any problems with editing the aforementioned pages for Gladiator, Colossus, Captain Atom and Doomsday, the page for Darkseid gave me the error message again today, despite the fact that such problems stopped some days ago.

Now I'm having the same problem with Lobo and Black Adam.

@darth_nimrod: Ah thanks for the tag, wouldn't have seen it otherwise. I'll try to fix them tomorrow, bit late for me tonight.

@darth_nimrod: I haven't fixed Captain Atom and Black Adam yet, other should be fine.

Also, If you are copy pasting from MS Word for example, check that non-standard characters are not used, they also give that error.

Edit: And Captain Atom is fixed now too.

I have trouble fixing Black Adam though, the links seem to be fine, and I replaced the non-standard letters that might cause the error, but I still can't save it. So it might take a while for me to figure out what is the cause there.

Wow ok, the Black Adam is extra weird. The editor doesn't like the highlighted word there.

On further inspection, the highlighted page itself seems to be broken, it doesn't come up in searches when fully spelt out, appears when "d" is missing in the end of the search though. And I can't do any edits on that page whatsoever. And I can't even spell the word here in the post, otherwise it wouldn't allow me to post.

Anyway I replaced he highlighted word with the character's full name, Norda Cantrell, and Black Adam page can be edited again.

Sorry to bother here again but now I am having problems with the Spartan page. Have you been sleeping @killerz?
