Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire bombs hard at the box office.

A worldwide gross of only $114M after two weekends and four days is just embarrassing.

Its budget was 100m so definitely not as much of a bomb as the marvels at least

I wanted to see this from the trailers but I saw some of the reviews for it and just could not do it. Plus I went to a Baseball Game the weekend this Movie opened and just forgot about it.

Honestly, this franchise needs to make like it's villains, and just move on already. It was a one-hit wonder of a franchise.

The fact that Afterlife made less than Ghostbusters 2016 (to be fair, Afterlife did release when COVID was still bad; but to be even more fair, Spider-Man No Way Home released just a month later and made crap tons more) should have been the wakeup call Sony needed that the franchise is dead, and no amount of cameos from the original actors is gonna change it.

Not surprising. The trailers didn't look too good.

This might be the weirdest IP I've seen them try to make a universe out of. Why do they keep trying to make this a thing?
