Centuries later, Theo Adams, a descendant of Teth-Adam was assigned to Rex Mason's excavation in Kahndaq. Theo and Rex found Teth-Adam's mummified body holding the Orb of Ra. Khufu fled into the desert in the hopes of gathering a force that could overthrow Ahk-Ton. Khufu was given a vision by Nabu the Wise to follow a path that would lead him to reclaiming his throne. When Khufu reached the crash site of a Thangarian ship, he was greeted by Nabu and Teth-Adam. Teth-Adam and Nabu helped Khufu forge the Nth Metal from the Thanagarian ship into battle armor as well as a gauntlet that could assimilate Ahk-Ton's power then use it against him. The brothers used Thangarian science and ancient magic to defeat Ahk-Ton by condemning his essence to the Orb of Ra. Khufu took his rightful place as Pharaoh.

When Jezeba begins to realize that Algon's presence is a plight on her people and her land, she uses her magic to transform Algon back into the Orb of Ra.
