I really do like the "magic is just advanced science" explanation that we get on Thor... but even in the comics Richards has said that magic is just undiscovered science that even he doesn't understand.

It's be interesting to see FitzSimmons have that point of view and then get really frustrated by the fact that they can't figure it out with science.

I think it's a safe bet that with Doctor Strange coming out they'll want to focus at least a little bit on magic on AoS. Ghost Rider is a good magical character that people love who isn't going to turn off viewers who might not be interested in magic.
