Lois Lane knows his secret, and will throw herself in harm's way to confront him on it. The bottled city of Kandor struggles between the choices of xenophobia and freedom, while Superman wonders if humanity will survive with his passing. And the hero receives a haunting message from the 24th century, warning him of a danger that could destroy the entire Earth!
