When people say Superman has a weakness to magic. Can someone explain how that works exactly.
Does he take extra damage from a magic attack? Does he take it as a normal human? What about his base durability taken into account?

Lets use a normal human as an example to play with numbers to illustrate.
Human has 100 durability and Superman has 100 000 000 durability.

Human takes a punch that deals 90 damage. Superman takes the same punch which deal 0.0000001 damage.

Human takes a magic attack that deals 90 damage. What does Superman take from the same magic attack? Does he take 90 damage too? Does he take less than a human? Does he take more?

Or would you say his durability is lowered to 100 000 against a magic attack but still takes 0.0000001 damage? Or lowered and still takes 90 damage, same as a human?

DCEU Superman isn’t weak or vulnerable to magic, at least not that I’m aware of

Comic Superman, Magic by-passes his invulnerability..he’s not weak to it.

I'd like to note that DCEU supes being weak to magic is only speculation. The closest we've come to a magical confrontation is Diana and - maybe - Steppenwolf; both whom he overpowered.

There is no evidence of him being weak to magic as of now.

    No proof at all.

No proof in the DCEU but going by normal standards he’s just not immune to it like he is say bullets that’s it really.

It’s speculation but I imagine hax from Strange or Diana or Thors blades could damage him but it’s not like kryptonite where he would collapse by it.

@essem: he is not weak to magic. He can be harmed with magic.

It all depends on the plot. Sometimes superman is harmed with trash magic, the other time he tanks much higher things.

he is refering to comic superman.

as of the dceu. No one has used magic against him to say he is weak or not.

@supermanforever: Doomsday was cut by Wonder Woman Magical sword though, i am not sure is that really weakness to magic but it definitely is not resistance.

Ww sword has not been confirmed to be a magical sword or having magical properties. Its made out of some kind of divine metal or something.

I dont really bother if its magic or not. I just base the level of the sword as high as its feat and the best feat it has is cutting doomsday who can no sell 30 mm gau8 antiarmor bullets etc.

So her sword is more piercing than 30 mm aa bullets/50 caliber gunfire. How much more is unknown so ill just say slightly above 30mm/50 cal

DCEU Kryptonians are either vulnerable to magic, OR they can be maimed by mid-level bricks wielding next-to-mundane swords.

    Your choice.

IMO, they are vulnerable to it, in the sense that they lose their "super" defenses against it.

The magic draws power from different dimensions and that's how it's in MCU. As far as I remember, we've seen different dimensions in ''Shazam!'' movie too, it's highly possibly that DCEU is the same.

Kryptonians gets weaker and even gets KOed when the environment changes. They are very vulnerable like normal human beings.

The magic effects them equally as long as it draws its strength from different dimensions.

We've already seen that WW's lasso effected Clark and her sword managed to cut Doomsday's arm.

Only extremely biased DCEU fanboys would deny the fact that DCEU Kryptonians are vulnerable to magic.
