He already struggled in pure H2H against Soldier Boy and Butcher who are obviously skilled and much slower than she is. She's also durable enough to take full blows from Doomsday and Superman.

She literally gets knocked back multiple times without a scratch or blood drawn in the film lol. I have not seen that damage output from Homelander yet.

Piercing damage=/=blunt force damage. Many comic versions of WW can be hurt by piercing weapons. That doesn't make them weaker than Homelander.

I think Homelander is in for a tough fight against Diana, and probably a bit more than he can chew. She has way better feats than Maeve, and her H2H skills are insane. And, according to the OP, Homelander can't use heat vision here. Homelander also struggled, hard, against Soldier Boy and V-Billy.

She didn’t tank any of that w/o shield and the HV is not LS, visible light reaches objects and refracts off of them well before the actual beam of HV reaches them:

1st image— You can see the HV has not reached Batman yet, but you can see the visible light from the HV having already reached Batman, refracting off of his abdominal area:
