Magneto Vs Dr. Doom

Who wins in a fight Magneto or Dr. Doom

Technically, each of them could take the other out with one attack.

Doom is just more prone to do it first. Doc Doom 7/10

He never takes of his metal armor.

Yes, it's got magnetic and magical protections, but I wouldn't believe them strong enough to stop an out to kill Mags. That's a matter of perception, though. That's my take on it.

That being said, in character, we would see Doom do it waaaay more often.

What single attack would defeat Doom?

You're saying he knows to protect himself but is incapable of doing so well enough to prevent Magneto from killing him? You insult Doom.

All out Mags has been known to affect matter on a molecular level, control the electro-magnetic spectrum, create emps (which technically should disable all electric activity, including muscle and brain functions), etc.

If Magneto is written correctly, there's no defense against him.

Of course, Doom is a master strategist and genius (so is Mags, but to a lesser extent). That's why I give advantage to Doom. He just doesn't take it every time.

Yeah, let's just forget that Doom has Magneto-proofed his armor, that Doom has planned for this battle, that Doom is second in line to be Sorcer Supreme and Mags has no defense against magic, that Doom can switch minds with someone by looking at them, that Doom outwitted Mephisto, that Doom's a friggin genius, that Doom already beat Magneto, that Doom has battled gods, that Doom stole the power cosmic from Silver Surfer, that he fought Beyonder, that he can nullify powers, etc., etc. No disrespect to Magneto (love the guy, really) but this is Doom.

How does Doom hurt Magneto

He's freakin' Doc Doom. That's how....

He's one of earth most powerful sorcerers (I think only Strange and Mordo are ahead). Magneto has no defense against that. I think they've fought in continuity once, and Doc Doom won.

Also, his armor makes him mad strong, fast, he's the type of character that can pull a DEM gadget out his butt and when you think you've got him beat, WROOOOOOONG, it was a doombot all along (Doubt that would work on Mags, though. He would do to doombots what he does to sentinels.).

Again, I gave advantage to Doom... But with a guy like Mags, no matter who you are, you just can't take it every single time... I'll post some scans later to show what he can do... Right now, I'm gonna get some dinner.

Magneto attacks Doom. Doom gets crushed like a can. Magneto gets attacked from behind. Turns out the Doom he killed was only a doom-bot. The Real Doom takes off Mag's helmet and brain washes him with random hypno-machine. Mags goes on a killing spree and goes after the FF. FF take him down and send him to S.H.I.E.L.D. for detainment where most likely he'll escape and a bunch of random events will happen leading to nothing ever getting solved.

i think some forget what dooms armor and other devise are made out of METAL Mag's specialty

If you say that Magneto will win based solely on the fact that Doom wears metal, you obviously don't.

I just don't think doom beats a determined Magneto if you add in doom bots you got to add in magnetos allies too. i just want doom vs magneto head to head no outsiders

If its clear Doom wins i admit defeat i just want people to think about it. Different things that could happen.

I never mentioned Doombots did I? All the things I mentioned in my third post are things Doom did.

It doesn't matter what he chooses to use because it will all work. He could turn Magneto into a rock, send him to hell, light him on (magical) fire, remove his heart, summon a demon for him to fight, I don't know what he would do, I just know that he has wicked crazy magic that Magneto has no defence against. Pretty much anything Dr. Strange could do, Doom could do, and it doesn't even need to be Strange-level magic. All Doom really needs to do is look Magneto in the eye and boom, he steals his body.

Reminds me of that one issue of "What If..." when Doctor Doom became Sorceror Supreme. Think it was #52, im not sure.

I really hate all powerful people. I don't even really read comics with them in it inless they are not a bad guy.. All powerful it boring. I like ultimate Doctor Doom cus from what I seen hes not crazy powerful.

Well, in all fairness, it's not like Doom's never been beaten by people you normally assume can't. It's not like he's not had his lights punched out by the Black Panther recently, a man with no powers. He regularly gets beat by the Fantastic Four, none of whom are as powerful as Magneto (well, maybe Sue).

If you put the stats on paper, yes, Doom is more powerful. But the writers have a way of getting around that.

Remember: Dazzler beat Dr. Doom. Squirrel Girl beat Dr. Doom. Not Doombots. Dr. Doom himself.

Squirrel Girl also took down Thanos and you just wrote about how powerful Dazzler is, so I don't think losing to these two is a bad thing for Doom.

Heh heh...I just wanted to reiterate that any good writer could come up with a conceivable and believable way for their pick to beat someone more powerful. In one appearance, a writer had Magneto pull out Wolverine's skeleton. In another, Wolverine beats on Magneto for three pages before anything happens. It's just the writer's idea.

Reed has gone one on one with Dr. Doom and won. Reed is nowhere near as powerful as Magneto. It's just the writing.

I think losing to Dazzler while in disco make-up and wearing rollerskates is a bad thing no matter what. :)

Great topic, as stated doom as smart but to smart for his on good, he has alwsy let his smartness get th better of him and THIS AND THIS ALONG is why he alwasy really losing.

screw that, they fight as they are, screw the planning, doom reminds me of alyoplse of however you spell it, in age of alyolse( where he beats mag and goats, and mag rips him in 2, the same would happen with victor von doom, pick up issues he is always doc doom, victor van doom, he would be so busy goating , that he would not relieze that mags ahd putt a polar bubble around supercharing it and than pop it letting doom be expouse to earth polar and short ciruit his nervous system and sling him to the sun thxs to laws of mags

If Magneto had the element of surprise he might win, but if he screwed up he would lose. Of sending metal robots top fight him would accomplish nothing but wasting both of their time and energy. Doom had to build them didn't he.

This is cleary nothing more than a ego trip, so I say Doom wins. Magneto falls asleep at the wheel and crashs before reaching the fight, so when he dosent show Doom is declared the winner.

Doom wins. the good doctor is one of the most powerful sorceres on earth and Magnus has no defenses against that.

Doom can repel the magnetic thingy on his armor stopping magneto from making it his coffin in the comic doom almost killed magneto but ghost rider stoped him.

magneto coul beat Dr. doom with no hands while taking a crap and spinnig around in a circle and while Being blinfolded, Reciting the canadian pledge of allegiance backward in chinees while killing 30000 sentinals.and itching his ass with his leg.

Doom has already beaten Magneto. Even if the fight never happens. Doom isn't just intelligent. That dude is INTELLIGENT! He's already devised a plan in the likelihood of fighting Mag with every possibly scenario covered. In fact I'm sure he's even got a plan to take Magneto's power when he needs it. WHENEVER he needs it, and not just Mag's, but most of the villains in every comic universe because, yes, Doom is aware of them all.

The only reason Doom loses is because he's a bad guy and God is a good guy, therefore good always wins in the end. Otherwise, Doom wins every battle every time, on sheer strategy and intelligence alone.

Magneto is no dummy. Just throwing that out there.

Magneto has had better writers than Doom, giving him more flaws.....I just made a nation of enemies.
