VISION #7

(W) Tom King (A) Michael Walsh (CA) Mike Del Mundo

A NEW STORY STARTS NOW!

• Once upon a time a robot and a witch fell in love. What followed was a tale of the dead and the dying, of the hopeful and the lost, of the wronged and the avenged. And in the end, after both had fallen, the witch and the robot rose from their dirt and eyed each other across a field of blood and bone.

• Forty-five years in the making, this is the story of Scarlet Witch and the Vision. Before family, there was love. And war.

Walta has really made this book his own. A bit odd seeing someone else drawing it, even if it is a flashback issue. That's some great looking work from Michael Walsh though and having Jordie color it keeps the look consistent.

Colorists can really change the look of an artist's work dramatically. This doesn't look like a lot of Walsh's other stuff

considering all the people who use it as an insult to his character, both in the comics and outside them, I kinda liked that king had wanda call him that as an endearment. I mean, I get not liking his character, but it's a bit sad to constantly insult him by implying he's not even a person. :/

@ready_4_madness: Yeah, witches and robots should only make out with each other when they're not fighting alongside Norse gods, super soldiers, and technologically advanced flying cyborgs.

Comic books.

So is this called Vision or The Vision? The covers tells me one thing, and the articles here, and on the Marvel website, tell me something else.

For some reason, quite a lot of Marvel comics recently have had The in the logo and not in the indicia. Mighty Thor is another example.

If I was their teammate and I saw them kissing while me and the other teammates are getting out butts handed. I would PURPOSELY throw a Car directly at them or whatever to let them know I'm pissed and they need to get their head in the game.

@timelordscience: Yeah, I really have to agree with you. Walsh's art on say, Secret Avengers had more ink and looks really different than this more "painted" feel in Vision. Both great, I have to say. Coloring and inks really do affect the final visual output, even when the pencils are the same. JRJR is an example of this imo.

I mean this was better than Vision 'creating' his own family...that feels like self-incest or something O.o I know it is a good book but I just can't get into it with all the weirdness. I can handle Deadpool weird but Vision weird goes way darker.
