Interested in writing for the front page? CV update 2021

So this is an idea we have talked touted and had confirmed for a while but had no dates confirmed.

As many of you are aware, the front page of comicvine hasn't been updated in years. As a result of this, we're announcing that users will be able to write content for the front page - whether that be a blog, review or think piece on comics, anime, live action etc.

Hopefully this will engage the community and refresh the site. It will also allow for a variety of different perspectives. The details of how this will be implemented will be made clearer to us on September 15th. From what we can gather, mods will be able to select user content and pin it to the front page.

If you are interested in writing something for the front page, whether that be a review or a think piece or whatever, please let us know whether by commenting or DM. Thanks.

This sounds like a great idea, the front page could really use a dust up on the cob webs.

Daily Debater, Battle of the Week, and for a month of Does "someone always win/lose" be great Battle forum specifics.

Art picks of the month, reviews, some comic news, and think pieces be another great addition.

We cannot forget to add Manga to this list, its pretty much comics and Manga sells.

Frozen stop being so unbased

How do I contact the mods? I accidentally deleted a battle poll because there was no edit option for some stupid reason and whenever I try to create a new one it says I already created a topic and to wait until later.

But my thread got deleted so why the hell wont it let me put my post back up or just make a new one? Mods if you see this post you need to put my post back up or let me make a new one.

Cause this is a really scummy design. Why the hell do you let people edit regular battle posts but not polls and the. The undelete button doesn’t even work AT ALL? Seriously I need my post back up or I need to be able to make a new one ASAP moderators.

you are a new user. You have limited posts for a couple of days iirc, then you can post freely.

@delein: but my post got DELETED. Not removed by mods or reported. I thought you could edit your posts cause I made a typo and accidentally clicked delete post because I didn’t realize there was no edit option.

So it’s not like I’m trying to make multiple posts. I’m literally trying to get my ONE post I made back up. It’s pretty ridiculous that the undelete button doesn’t even work.

It’s kind of dumb that this is even a thing in the first place. Like if I deleted my post by accident then why doesn’t it register that I didn’t make a post in the first place? It’s not like anyone can even see my deleted post in the first place.

There is an undelete option but sometimes it is bugged, so you gotta make the post from scratch now.
