    When demons seize control of Limbo, Deadman recruits the mystical members of the Justice League to save the hereafter!

    The story begins when Deadman reveals he has possessed the body of Wonderwoman and he requests the help of the Justice League in retaking Limbo from the Demons Three. Superman agrees to help but Deadman requests the services of other Justice League members with supernatural ties called the Trenchcoat Brigade. The team includes Etrigan and Zauriel who intially did not want to work together settle their differences for the greater cause. but their quarrel persists. The Trenchcoat Brigade arrives in Limbo to dicover the Demons Three have used complicated magic to create barriers from limbo to heaven and hell. They battle the Demons Three and Zatanna is captured and the demons wish to remove her voice so she cannot cast the spell to dissolve the barriers. Etrigan suggest he cut her throat because his claws are the sharpest and swiftest, seemingly betraying the Trenchcoat Brigade. Etrigan then attacks the Demons setting Zatanna free to remove the barriers and so that the team may win the battle. after the pathways to eternity become free to travel Zauriel apologizes to Etrigan and thanks him for his act of subterfuge.
