Analyzing Luke Vs Vader and proving they are not equals (EU)

This is not a response to RedSiths blog and other posts just to clarify. I will be making my own standalone blog analyzing Luke vs Vader in ROTJ and prove they are NOT Equals at the time.

The ROTJ:

The fight begins with Luke and Vader pacing around then begin striking at each other.

Slowly, Luke and Vader circled. Lightsaber high above his head, Luke readied his attack from classic first-position; the Dark Lord held a lateral stance, in classic answer. Without announcement, Luke brought his blade straight down—then, when Vader moved to parry, Luke feinted and cut low. Vader counterparried, let the impact direct his sword toward Luke’s throat...but Luke met the riposte and stepped back. The first blows, traded without injury. Again, they circled.

Immediately at the start Vader goes straight for Luke's throat with Luke managing to avoid it. This could be used as a stance for Vader trying his best. against Luke and Luke who is only defending holding his own. However Vader was not trying at all as here it says. This was said to be a mere test by Vader to see Luke's skill and that it was a shame that he couldn't let Luke kill the emperor yet and that he needed more extensive tutelage.

Vader was impressed with Luke’s speed. Pleased, even. It was a pity, almost, he couldn’t let the boy kill the Emperor yet. Luke wasn’t ready for that, emotionally. There was still a chance Luke would return to his friends if he destroyed the Emperor now. He needed more extensive tutelage, first—training by both Vader and Palpatine— before he’d be ready to assume his place at Vader’s right hand, ruling the galaxy.

Luke even rushes Vader when he hasn't even been able to collectively gather his thoughts.

Before Vader could gather his thoughts much further, though, Luke attacked again—much more aggressively. He advanced in a flurry of lunges, each met with a loud crack of Vader’s phosphorescent saber. The Dark Lord retreated a step at every slash, swiveling once to bring his cutting beam up viciously—but Luke batted it away, pushing Vader back yet again. The Lord of the Sith momentarily lost his footing on the stairs and tumbled

While Vader is floored Luke begins to feel temptations and conflict inside himself. This could have influenced the fight as Luke wouldn't be capable of fighting at his best.

Luke stood above him, at the top of the staircase, heady with his own power. It was in his hands, now, he knew it was: he could take Vader. Take his blade, take his life. Take his place at the Emperor’s side. Yes, even that. Luke didn’t bury the thought, this time; he gloried in it. He engorged himself with its juices, felt its power tingle his cheeks. It made him feverish, this thought, with lust so

overpowering as to totally obliterate all other considerations.

He had the power; the choice was his.

And then another thought emerged, slowly compulsive as an ardent lover: he could destroy the Emperor, too. Destroy them both, and rule the galaxy. Avenge and conquer.

However this was stated to have no affect on him as he did not swoon or recoil

It was a profound moment for Luke. Dizzying. Yet he did not swoon. Nor did he recoil.

Vader gets up and begins to feel anger as he feels that his son might best due to being astounded by his power.

He took one step forward.

For the first time, the thought entered Vader’s consciousness that his son might best him. He was astounded by the strength Luke had acquired since their last duel, in the Cloud City—not to mention the boy’s timing, which was honed to a thought’s-breadth. This was an unexpected circumstance. Unexpected and unwelcome. Vader felt humiliation crawling 1n on the tail of his first reaction, which was surprise, and his second, which was fear. And then the edge of the humiliation curled up, to reveal bald anger. And now he wanted revenge.

However this does not automatically equate to Luke being directly equal to him as shown with past sequence the fact it says might.

Luke feels internal conflict once again when being goaded to use his anger by Palp. However this does not last long or happen while they are trading blows as Luke stepped back and relaxed.

Luke faltered a moment—then realized what was happening. He was suddenly confused again. What did he want? What should he do? His brief exultation, his microsecond of dark clarity—gone, now, in a wash of indecision, veiled enigma. Cold awakening from a passionate flirtation.

He took a step back, lowered his sword, relaxed, and tried to drive the hatred from his being.

Right after Vader attacks Luke Luke being driven to run Luke refuses to fight him and Vaders became more angry and even the key phrase comes saying Vader did not want to try his best if Luke didn't fight.

In that instant, Vader attacked. He lunged half up the stairs, forcing Luke to reverse defensively. He bound the boy’s blade with his own, but Luke disengaged and leaped to the safety of an overhead gantry. Vader jumped over the railing to the floor beneath the platform on which Luke stood.

“I will not fight you, Father,” Luke stated.

“You are unwise to lower your defenses,” Vader warned. His anger was layered, now—he did not want to win if the boy was not battling to the fullest.

Then this comes saying if killing a boy is something Vader could also do. Note it says could not would and even then if he would do that that means he wouldn't be trying his best either due to the previous line.

But if winning meant he had to kill a boy who wouldn’t fight...then he could do that, too. Only he wanted Luke to be aware of those consequences. He wanted Luke to know this was no longer just a game.

Then Luke says that Vader is conflicted and that his thoughts betray him.

“Your thoughts betray you, Father. I feel the good in you... the conflict. You could not bring yourself to kill me before—and you won't destroy me now.” Twice before, in fact—to Luke’s recollection—Vader could have killed him, but didn’t. In the dogfight over the first Death Star, and later in the lightsaber duel on Bespin. He thought of Leia, briefly now, too—of how Vader had had fer in his clutches once, had even tortured her... but didn’t kill her.

Then Vader gets immediately triggered by it.

This accusation really made Vader angry. He could tolerate much from the insolent child, but this was insufferable. He must teach this boy a lesson he would never forget, or die learning. “Once again, you underestimate the power of the dark side......"

Vader then throws his blade at Luke and Luke dodges running to take cover

Vader threw his scintillating blade—it sliced through the supports holding up the gantry on which Luke was perched, then swept around and flew back into Vader’s hand. Luke tumbled to the ground, then rolled down another level, under the tilting platform. In the shadow of the darkened overhang, he was out of sight. Vader paced the area like a cat, seeking the boy; but he wouldn’t enter the shadows of the overhang.

“You cannot hide forever, Luke.”

“You'll have to come in and get me,” replied the disembodied voice.

Then the moment comes Vader's evil is compromised.

“I will not give you the advantage that easily.” Vader felt his intentions increasingly ambiguous in this conflict; the purity of his evil was being compromised. The boy was clever indeed—Vader knew he must move with extreme caution now.

Luke while hiding still not wishing to fight puts down his saber and gives it to Vader from a distance.

“I wish no advantage, father. I will not fight you. Here...take my weapon.” Luke knew full well this might be his end, but so be it. He would not use Darkness to fight Darkness. Perhaps it would be left to Leia, after all, to carry on the struggle, without him. Perhaps she would know a way he didn’t know; perhaps she could find a path. For now, though, he could see only two paths, and one was into Darkness; and one was not.

Luke put his lightsaber on the ground, and rolled it along the floor toward Vader. It stopped halfway between them, in the middle of the low overhead area. The Dark Lord reached out his hand—Luke’s lightsaber jumped into it. He hooked it to his belt and, with grave uncertainty, entered the shadowy overhang.

He was picking up additional feelings from Luke, now, new crosscurrents of doubt. Remorse, regret, abandonment. Shades of pain. But somehow not directly related to Vader. To others, to...Endor. Ah, that was it—the Sanctuary Moon where his friends would soon die. Luke would learn soon enough: friendship was different on the dark side. A different thing altogether.

Vader speaks to Luke about joining then stops to sense his feelings and thoughts. This refers to Leia

“Give yourself to the dark side, Luke,” he entreated. “Tt is the only way you can save your friends. Yes, your thoughts betray you, son. Your feelings for them are strong, especially for—”

Vader stopped. He sensed something.

Luke withdrew further into shadow. He tried to hide, but there was no way to hide what was in his mind— Leia was in pain. Her agony cried to him now, and his spirit cried with her. He tried to shut it out, to shut it up, but the cry was loud, and he couldn’t stifle it, couldn’t leave it alone, had to cradle it openly, to give it solace.

Vader’s consciousness invaded that private place.

Luke knowing Vader senses his thoughts regarding Leia Vader talks about turning Leia which sets off Luke.

No!” screamed Luke.

Vader was incredulous. “Sister? Sister!” he bellowed. “Your feelings have now betrayed her, too... Twins!” he roared triumphantly. “Obi-Wan was wise to hide her, but now his failure is complete.” His smile was clear to Luke, through the mask, through the shadows, through all the realms of Darkness. “If you will not turn to the Dark Side, perhaps she will.”

This, then, was Luke’s breaking point. For Leia was everyone’s last unflagging hope. If Vader turned his twisted, misguided cravings on her...

Luke then rushes Vader enraged and attacking in frenzy he never known basically rage boosted.

“Never!” he screamed. His lightsaber flew off Vader’s belt into his own hand, igniting as it came to him.

He rushed to his father with a frenzy he’d never known. Nor had Vader. The gladiators battled fiercely, sparks flying from the clash of their radiant weapons, but it was soon evident that the advantage was all Luke’s. And he was pressing it. They locked swords, body to body. When Luke pushed Vader back to break the clinch, the Dark Lord hit his head on an overhanging beam in the cramped space. He stumbled backward even farther, out of the low-hanging area. Luke pursued him relentlessly.

Blow upon blow, Luke forced Vader to retreat—back, onto the bridge that crossed the vast, seemingly bottomless shaft to the power core. Each stroke of Luke’s saber pummeled Vader, like accusations, like screams, like shards of hate.

The Dark Lord was driven to his knees. He raised his blade to block yet another onslaught—and Luke slashed Vader’s right hand off at the wrist.

Luke had won.

The hand, along with bits of metal, wires, and electronic devices, clattered uselessly away while Vader's lightsaber tumbled over the edge of the span, into the endless shaft below, without a trace.

Luke stared at his father’s twitching, severed, mechanical hand—and then at his own black-gloved artificial part—and realized suddenly just how much he’d become like his father. Like the man he hated.

Now onto The Rise and fall of Darth Vader novel which tells this fight in Vader's POV.

The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader

The battle Starts off immediately with Luke attempting to kill palp with his saber but Vader moves faster.

They continue to battle, Vader has throught's going through his mind about not wanting Luke to to become the emperors apprentice. Luke then gains the upperhand and kicks Vader knocking him down the stairs snapping a cable in his cybernetic leg. Luke then calls out Vader on his internal confliction

As the fight continues Luke hides Vader tries getting him to come out to give himself over to the dark side then he senses Luke's inner thoughts.

Luke as established gets triggered from it and goes on to attack Vader full of anger. Rage amped. Vader takes a glancing blow which ruptures his life support which is very vital to him. Luke also then severs his wrist.

Luke had only won due to various reasons: Vader was conflicted therefore nerfing him Luke was rage amped and fighting a hold back Vader and conflicted Vader. Vader's life support was struck and ruptured.

Sidious level Scaling:

Luke refuses to join Sidious. Sidious retaliates by blasting him with lighting.

Luke here is shown unable to do anything all while Sidious calls Luke feeble and easily overpowers him.

Vader seeing this retaliates and betrays Sidious by carrying him and throwing him down the shaft.

Vader completely powers through Sidiou's full power all while weakened and vulnerable to Force Lightning.

At that instant, Vader sprang up and grabbed the Emperor from behind, pinning Palpatine’s upper arms to his torso. Weaker than he’d ever been, Vader had lain still these last few minutes, focusing his every fiber of being on this one, concentrated act—the only action possible; his last, if he failed. Ignoring pain, ignoring his shame and his weaknesses, ignoring the bone-crushing noise in his head, he focused solely and sightlessly on his will—his will to defeat the evil embodied in the Emperor.

Credit ROTJ novel

It took all of his remaining strength to seize the emperor from behind lift him off his feet and carry him to the open elevator shaft

Credit Rise and Fall of Darth vader

He did not tank less lightning than Luke the novel saying the lightning was spread out is completely inaccurate.

Palpatine struggled in the grip of Vader's unfeeling embrace, his hands still shooting bolts of malign energy out in all directions. In his wild flailing, the lightning ripped across the room, tearing into Vader.

What actually happens is that the lightning arcs back to hit them both.

Luke and Vader were not equals refutation of refutation of refutaion debunk

What contradiction? Assuming by "main material" you mean the films, I'm going to ask again, what in the film shows objectively that unconflicted Vader was Luke's superior?

Idk maybe the fact he powered through Sidious's lightning and killed Sidious.

As most of us are aware

But not for the reasons some may think.

Luke being able to react fast enough does not automatically mean he was prepared. He even says right before the saber throw that he doesn't believe Vader will destroy him.

But Luke still had to be on guard as he in still fighting Vader nothing said it's an attack Luke dodged off guard.

You missed what the novel says right after

And what does it say again after that. Remember Vader is conflicted just like with the Mustafar duel. it also says could not that he would or can was willing to.

Could definition

- Used to indicate possibility.

There's no such thing as "secondary source". Chee has been explicitly clear that all sources are at the same level, and not to mention even if that old system still existed, the novel and sourcebooks would all be C-canon, still putting them at the same level. Quite honestly what should be classified as "secondary" is Luke's IU opinion compared to OOU omniscient post-date sources that contradict it.

"All sources are at the same level"

Random: source clash of equals

Another random source: Vader held back

repeat. Unless your gonna push the notion both conflicting sources are both right(which is impossible and incoherent)

Lukes opinion also isn't secondary as he is completely accurate as you know what Vader says:

No Caption Provided

Leland Chee has also been contradicted(Didn't he call rebels Vader him in his prime? lmao) before and is speaking from uncertainty and no complete knowledge. ontradicting sources of numerous all being on the same level is a wack thing to say. That just makes it inconsistent.

And not to mention the novel (aka the in-depth analysis) makes it abundantly clear Luke was just as conflicted and mentally hindered as Vader, if not more.

Luke was mentally conflicted at certain points yes but he was not hindered by it even confirming he recovered from it in the same instances that didn't have luke or Vader clashing sabers.

Because as Hidalgo said, his intent should be considered but it's not the dominating factor in the material. Chee has also said something similar where EU producers pick and choose what they want to adhere to, rather than blindly following George.

But even if you want to completely disregard George, that's fine, because there's more than enough other pieces of material supporting the Luke = Vader, and it's not like my original argument included his quotes.

Yeah because the guy contradicts himself they're the writers so of course they're gonna make the official storytelling. In fact that's just a more counter argument of george being a reliable source he isn't a dominating factor as you said right? however you may not have included quotes from him but you defend his stance from when I disapproved him from my explanation why.

Vader can be conflicted internally yet still go about normally. It's completely natural for someone to choose one thing normally and at full capacity while still considering an alternate choice. Vader in the film and novel shows no signs of hesitation or hinderance when attempting to strike Luke down twice.

Force users confliction can affect they're combat and force prowess this is also Vader we are talking about it's been proven his confliction has nerfed him before. Vader showing no hesitance dosen't really counter the argument of nerfing it was the same with Obi-Wan Anakin was trying to kill him was still internally conflicted during the battle Obi-Wan even notes that. His combat prowess was off despite the fact he was trying to kill him. That would completely debunk the notion of equality in the first place.

No Caption Provided

It's not until the two are under the stairs that the conflict is described to have an actual effect on his desire to win the fight, while the comic quote refers to their duel atop, which lines up perfectly with what is shown on-screen. As for the second point, that is simply how comics work. If they made an attempt to draw and illustrate every single frame of the movie, the comic would probably still be in the making. That does not invalidate the comic at all. The novel also changes aspects of the fight yet it's still usable.

The novel is more valid because it actually follows more closely to the movie and the scenes of the battle the comic went f all and ripped out scripts to incorporate a shorter version. I'm not saying draw every single frame but follow the course of the original material. Even adaptations of comics do this. I'm also not even using extentions or aspects changed but the closer material scenes from the movie put into the novel.

And then on the Death Star he is still trying to turn Vader, showing him compassion throughout their duel. Even while being electrocuted, he calls out at Vader trying to get him to turn and bring down Sidious.

True yes but you used an example that wasn't from the fight.

That was a secondary point, what you can still see is that Luke loses all clarity and his mind is veiled in enigma due to his own conflicting, meanwhile the complete opposite is described for Vader, where he has clear intent to kill.

Again I please ask to read the scan. Luke was said to be dizzied but only for a mere moment In which no sort of saber clashing was displayed.

No Caption Provided

Mentions again "Miscrosecond of dark clarity-gone, now" A sentence later say "he took a step back, lowered his sword, relaxed and tried to drive the hatred from his being".

Which... takes precedence over Vader's actual thoughts and omniscient sources, why?

Vader's thoughts: his evil was being compromised

Vader: "tell your sister you were right"

Omniscient sources: Completely made by a persons intent and contradicted by source material.

You again missed what that same scan says.

Explained before:

And what does it say again after that. Remember Vader is conflicted just like with the Mustafar duel. it also says could not that he would or can was willing to.

Credit: Supreme101

There's no evidence that he knows Luke will evade and there's plenty of evidence he did not hold back here. It is Luke's own reaction that saves him from being cut down then and there. Vader waits for Luke to drop his defenses and then attacks instantly, trying not to allow Luke to defend himself, but fails.

Vader knows Lukes capabilities. As you showed before he is a capable and skilled person in Vader's own admittance. vader also has to keep pressing luke to get him to fight back otherwise there would be no point.

Vader watched Luke. His boy was powerful, stronger than he’d imagined. And still pliable. Not lost yet—either to the sickening, weakly side of the Force, that had to beg for everything it received; or to the Emperor, who feared Luke with reason. There was yet time to take Luke for his own—to retake him. To join with him in dark majesty. To rule the galaxy together. It would only take patience and a little wizardry, to show Luke the exquisite satisfactions of the dark way and to pry him from the Emperor’s terrified clutch. Vader knew Luke had seen it too—the Emperor’s fear. He was a clever boy, young Luke. Vader smile grimly to himself. He was his father’s son.

His evil is compromised much later while under the stairs, not atop the platform where he has a clear intent to kill. It is made clear here that Luke's own defense was the only thing that saved him.

Vader is directly stated to be compromised during the duel and that's when he should be cautious as his intentions were getting more and more weaker as time went on. It's just further confirmation from Luke's own words.

Once again, his evil is compromised while under the stairs, not while atop the platform. There's zero evidence that Vader had the ability to just blitz and one-shot Luke, I mean he literally tries it and fails.

Which is done while he is conflicted during the entire fight as Luke notes before.

You can see clearly in this excerpt, it's Luke's own reaction speed that saves him, not Vader pulling back or slowing down or anything on his end.

Which can be further provided for via the prior statements from Luke.

It is explicitly stated that the thought enters Vader's mind that Luke could in fact get the better of him due to how much his strength has grown and what he displays at that point. Nothing to do with his potential or anything of that nature.

It says Might best him. not him saying he was equal or greater Does Sidious saying otherJedi might pose a threat to him automatically equate to those said jedi equal or stronger than Sidious.

Lmao what material? Your sources for Vader having superiority are no better than mine, and Luke's own opinion from a heavily outdated book while in a terrible, defeated mental state are not to treated as the primary material.

main story>>>>databook(dependant on context) The guide can't just say the opposite of the story the story says this character with the character even adressing such can blow up a city then the databook says the same character can blow up a planet you gonna take the contradicted material or the actual story?

His mental state, coupled with his regular mentality most certainly has a great effect. If you get your ass absolutely kicked in a one-on-one basketball game, and then you look back on one of your victories you'll do one of two things.

  1. You'll relish that victory and treasure it because it's your only reminder that you don't completely suck
  2. You'll believe that you did not deserve that victory and that you're just bad

Not the most valid comparison it's not in regard to being bad but how skilled the person you beat was or your experiences in basketball.

Now if you have a track record of being humble and doubtful of your own abilities, it's very likely you'll go with the latter over the former.

Which Luke does not have.

Incorrect. Sidious attributes it to Vader's power, but as we all see on screen he simply lifts him up while stated to be weaker than ever and using all his strength to do so and fully embracing the light side. This would in effect put him below ANH Vader, who is a stomp gap below ESB Vader, much less ROTJ Vader. So taking this quote with your interpretation you end up with Base ROTJ Vader being a stomp gap above ROTJ Sidious power-wise, which is obviously false. At best you can say he's physically stronger, but that doesn't account for much in this debate.

Physicals an argument but so as well in power as he is still amping himself and taking Sidious's own lightning.

It is an officially published C-canon source, just like the novelizations. A character's own words are what are not to be considered legitimate material in the face of actual sources.

No Caption Provided

He did not use greater power on Vader. He went all out on both of them, the differences being that Luke took all of Sidious's lightning for 2 minutes, while Vader only took about 20% of Sidious's blast for 10 seconds. Vader missing a prosthetic hand does not overshadow all this.

Vader as I said before had his life support ruptured weakening him and again stated as weaker than ever.

A glancing blow ruptured Vader's life support system and as he fell back against bridge's railing he was unable to stop Luke's blade from severing his right wrist.

The Feats of Star Wars Expanded Universe

Hi everyone! Today I will be listing the best feats from Star Wars EU (from my knowledge) however to clarify I will not be including superweapons(That will be for another thread) This will be set in multiple differing categories via the characters being listed and they're supposed feats Starting with Jedi(Note that I don't know everything and I'm just listing via my knowledge from the ones I know)

Starting with.......

Yarael Poof: Jedi Master

This feat takes place before the movie AOTC in which The Jedi master Yarael Poof displays the feat of containing the energies of a powerful superweapon known as the Infant Shaa. This weapon has numerous of being able to destroy a planet Credit to @eredin12 for the scans from databooks

Here it is confirmed he contained it's energies

Here it is confirmed the infant shaa is has planetary levels of destruction.

It can split Coruscant in halfA weapon capable of destroying an entire planetAn entire planet being wiped outIt could destroy a planetDestroy a planet and throw the Republic into chaosTear an entire planet apartThe release of it's energy will be like nothing the galaxy has ever seen. Coruscant's destruction will be a beacon visible from the core worlds to the outer rim."-credit to @eredin12

Keep in mind he did this while on the verge of death from being stabbed by a Vibroblade.

A hole in the force

Nihlus is one of the lesser known SW characters just like poof but even he had significant feats especially ones coming from a different era.

For starters the gluttonous bastard has a feat of destroying the planet Katarr (surface razing but a casual feat at that.

No Caption Provided

Another one of his feats has him of ripping a ship from Malachor using TK along with his fleet. While it may not seem so impressive at first but it is later revealed he took the fleet out of the gravity well.

(a black hole)

"He tore it from the mass shadows of Malachor, along with his fleet, that is a measure of his power."

Source: Colonel Tobin, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

The Ravager was hauled from the gravity well at Malachor V by its new master. He used it to escape imprisonment on Malachor V.

Source: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

This is again confirmed he did so via TK. So Nihlus overpowered and escaped a black hole.

Created the rule of two he did.

Long ago, Dxun had grazed the planet Onderon, close enough that it was possible for creatures to pass across the conjoined atmosphere. Perhaps Bane could nudge the beast moon close enough so that he could travel to the nearby planet that filled the sky. In bloodshed and chaos, Darth Bane would go to Onderon... and there he would find his apprentice.-

Here it says he could possibly move the moon Dxun. so he could travel between both the planet and moon

With his strength returned, his philosophy determined, and his dark side powers enhanced and improved, Darth Bane subjugated a flying beast and used it to travel from Dxun to Onderon. He would find an apprentice. The legacy would live on. Eventually, the sith would have their revenge

Here it says Darth bane traveled using a beast to fly to Onderon. This means he actually moved the satellite to place it in closer orbit. So what do you think. It reaffirms this via talking about his strength being increased. Tho this feat seems to be contended.

Shaak Ti: Jedi Master

Shaak Ti created a light side force nexus on the planet felucia. A Force Nexus is where the force whether light or dark is particularly strong and potent Shaak Ti did this over a planet and brought balance

IT TOOK HIM NO TIME at all to attune his senses to the vast and tangled life-fields of the fecund, overrun world. The balance had indeed shifted profoundly toward the dark side since his last visit. He found the world's new ambience familiar but not comfortable, and felt that he was recognized but not welcome. The latter surprised him and occupied his mind even as he defended himself against every able-bodied predator the world had to send against him. So it seemed, anyway. Without Shaak Ti keeping their innate Force sensitivity in check, the native Felucian species fought him every step of the way.

Shaak Ti's death affected them deeply, so profoundly entangled had she become in the energy flows of the world

No Caption Provided

Triceratops....that's all.

Thon was able to contain and seal massive amounts of dark side energy that created a nexus over an entire planet due a ritual mishap.

No Caption Provided

Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?

His presence alone changed Naboo's entire climate. Even breaking the nexus

Later it would be said by Naboo and Gungan alike that they couldn’t recall a colder winter than the one that followed Hego Damask’s autumnal visit to their world. The rivers and even the falls below Theed froze; the rolling plains and tall forests were blanketed three meters deep with snow; plasmic quakes rocked the Gallo Mountains and the Lake Country, the Holy Places and the undersea city of Otoh Gunga; and many of the egresses of the underwaterways that hollowed the planet were blocked by ice floes.

“On my first visit to your homeworld I recognized it as a nexus in the Force. And I remember thinking how appropriate it was that the dark side should be hiding on such a beautiful planet.”

Plaguies along with Sheev caused the balance of the force to shift

The question of whether he and Sidious had discovered something new or rediscovered something ancient was beside the point. All that mattered was that, almost a decade earlier, they had succeeded in willing the Force to shift and tip irrevocably to the dark side. Not a mere paradigm shift, but a tangible alteration that could be felt by anyone strong in the Force, and whether or not trained in the Sith or Jedi arts.

The shift had been the outcome of months of intense meditation, during which Plagueis and Sidious had sought to challenge the Force for sovereignty and suffuse the galaxy with the power of the dark side. Brazen and shameless, and at their own mortal peril, they had waged etheric war, anticipating that their own midi-chlorians, the Force’s proxy army, might marshal to boil their blood or stop the beating of their hearts. Risen out of themselves, discorporate and as a single entity, they had brought the power of their will to bear, asserting their sovereignty over the Force. No counterforce had risen against them. In what amounted to a state of rapture they knew that the Force had yielded, as if some deity had been tipped from its throne. On the fulcrum they had fashioned, the light side had dipped and the dark side had ascended.

I was pretty sure this was a Palp feat but I don't know entirely because it also mentions sidious power but what the hell.

"Plagueis's" death released powerful force energy so strong it caused a planet wide tremor and caused stars to burst and flare and constellations to align in new orbits

A tremor took hold of the planet. Sprung from death, it unleashed itself in a powerful wave, at once burrowing deep into the world’s core and radiating through its saccharine atmosphere to shake the stars themselves. At the quake’s epicenter stood Sidious, one elegant hand vised on the burnished sill of an expansive translucency, a vessel filled suddenly to bursting, the Force so strong within him that he feared he might disappear into it, never to return. But the moment didn’t constitute an ending so much as a true beginning, long overdue; it was less a transformation than an intensification—a gravitic shift.

If it really was distributed across the entire planet, it could be unkillable." - The Force Unleashed.

"He projected all his anger and grief into the surge, and the strength of it surprised even him. For PROXY, for Juno, for Kota, and for himself he fried the planetwide mind into slag."- Force unleashed

Another feat of his of overpowering is Boba Fett's ships hyperspace engines restricting it of movement. (note again restricting hyper space engines and preventing them from jumping requires large planetary masses)

Four thousand years ago, the vanguard of interdicting technology was encased in a massive Republic warship, the Leviathan. Though inefficient by modern standards, the vessel was capable of preventing the use of hyperdrives of the era by simulating the presence of planet-sized masses with its four enormous gravity-well generators."

Revan draws upon energy from a planet

"Revan is able to draw upon the dark side energies of the planet below and use it during the battle... Simultaneously, more and more Jedi, unable to ignore the power emanating from the planet below, become corrupted by its influence."- Star Wars: Chronicles of the Old Republic

Revan causes a disturbance in the force being on a scale of being everywhere and nowhere at once.

"There's something in the Force that I've never felt before. It exists nowhere and everywhere at once. Writhing, growing. I think I sense this "growth" because I'm tied to it somehow, maybe by association to Darth Arkous. I think… I think the Empire's in terrible danger."

Brakiss: GOT Joffrey lookin ahh

Brakiss manipulates stars energy or star fire

Closing his eyes, the Master of the Shadow Academy began to move his hands. Zekk watched through the observation port, his green eyes widening.

The ocean of rarefied incandescent gases between the dying stars started to swirl like arms of fire... writhing, changing shape, dancing in time with the hand motions Brakiss made. The dark teacher was manipulating the starfire itself!

He whispered to Zekk without opening his eyes, without observing the effect of his work. "The Force is in all things," Brakiss said, "from the smallest pebble to the largest star. This is just a glimmer of how Naga Sadow reached out to the stars and delivered a mortal wound five thousand years ago. "

He felt it enter the void, felt which of the many singularities it was.And he seized upon that void, directing all his Force abilities and discipline against it.It was like using a thin metal rod to push a grounded landspeeder. Too much pressure and it would bend, becoming useless. Too little and nothing would happen. He had to find the right pressure to budge it, to set it into motion and keep it going that way...For a moment, the only things in the universe were him, Jaina, and the void. He moved the void, turned it around, moved it back the other direction. Then he was himself again, in the cockpit, watching the flank of the interdictor distort. The void had moved back and touched the interdictor, and now the interdictor elongated into it, extending what looked like a pliant extrusion of what he knew to be hardened yorik coral into the singularity. -Enemy lines:Rebel Dream

The Defense king

Obi-Wan Kenobi tho I'm not too particularly fond of this, has a supposed feat of breaking a galaxy dark side nexus

Somehow, mysteriously, the cloud that has darkened the Force for near to a decade and a half has lightened around him now, and he finds within himself the limpid clarity he recalls from his schooldays at the Jedi Temple, when the Force was pure, and clean, and perfect. It is as though the darkness has withdrawn has coiled back upon itself, to allow him this moment of clarity, to return to him the full power of the light, if only for the moment-ROTS novelization

Obi-Wan seemingly resists or breaks from the dark side force nexus of the dark side itself of which was established before with the Plagueis and Palpatine feat Idk it's really hard to explain.

The Strongest Jedi:

Luke manipulates a black hole (Dovin basal)

No Caption Provided

Luke sank back into the chair and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and reached out through the Force. He let his sense of things ride above the frayed ones' jagged profile and vectored in toward the vehicle. He got no solid sense of it directly, though a few frayed ones did appear to be housed inside. Instead he used that emptiness as a way point to search out a void, and as it formed, the black hole blossomed fully in the Force.

The void that the vehicle's dovin basals created to intercept the missiles was a gravitic anomaly that had substance in the real world. Tiny threads of the Force leaked into it as insects and birds, bats and bugs were pulled into it. Luke used their vanishing life traces and the very currents in the air that the void created to define the void. He traced its edges, knew exactly where it was, and knew how powerful it was.

He opened himself to the Force more fully than he had in years. He sought more power than he had when freeing his nephew. The Force flooded into him, at once molten-metal hot, yet as soothing as a cool rain. It swirled through him, filling every cell of his body, freeing him from fatigue, sharpening his mind.

Luke reached out with that power and latched onto the void that the Yuuzhan Vong vehicle had created. He pushed a bit, then tugged, in nanoseconds getting a feel for the power the dovin basals were able to exert to control the void. He almost smiled, since that amount of power was nothing compared to the Force, but he stopped himself short of pride in that fact.

[…]

Immediately the dovin basals started to shift the void to cover this new attack vector. Luke fed the Force into his hold on the void, thwarting them. Their pressure increased, and still Luke held it unmoving. The torpedoes got closer and closer. The dovin basals pulled harder, and when their effort reached a new peak, Luke let the void slip over toward intercepting the proton torpedoes.

The dovin basals devoted their efforts to sliding the void into place, which required both some lateral movement and shortening the arc over which the void would travel. As they brought it close to the vehicle, Luke pushed with the Force. Since the dovin basals were already tugging the void back toward the vehicle, they were not prepared to have the travel accelerated.

The void crashed into the vehicle, striking it in midspine. The long vehicle bent backward as both ends became sucked into the black hole. It flowed like thick liquid, all the sharp horns and bony plates becoming fluid as they curved up over the void's event horizon. In less than an eye blink the vehicle had been consumed by the void, leaving a huge gap in the Yuuzhan Vong formation.

Luke becomes immovable to everything.

But this time Luke was ready, he placed his own hand in front of Raynar's, rooted himself in the heart of the force. And when he did that he became the very essence of the immovable object. Nothing could dislodge him; not one of Lando's asteroid tuggers, not the Megador's 16 ion engines, not the blackhole at the center of the galaxy itself. Luke stood that way waiting, fully aware that the remaining bugcrunchers were moving into defensive positions.

Luke fights and brutalizes Abeloth (a force god relative to the embodiments of the force)

Then Luke was there at Abeloths side, stomp-kicking her legs, knife handling her throat, grabbing for her head. It was like a cotton striking gauze-no popping ligaments or crunching cartilage, just force essence pushing into Force essence. But the damage was done. lukes foot went through Abeloths knee; her leg buckled. his hand sank into her larynx, and she drew back wheezing.-Fate of the jedi: Apocalypse

Luke achieves oneness

He took the steps at a lightning pace, burning his way through dilating membranes but in complete control of his momentum. Seen through the Force he was a maelstrom of luminous energy, a Force storm against which there was no shelter. And yet all his energy poured from a calm center; an eye.

"UNLIMITED POWER"

When Sidious dies Endor is made a dark side nexus

"Any unusual localization, or vergence, of dark side Force energy. These strange locales emanated the dark side of the Force, and were considered focal points of power for dark side users. As such, they were often guarded by Jedi Knights to prevent their discovery and exploitation. Known dark side nexuses included the twisted tree-cave on Dagobah, Halagad Ventor's hermitage on Trinta, and a "stain" of dark side energy that hovered over Endor following the defeat of the Emperor."

- The Complete Star Wars Encylopedia

Palpatine's very being passively tears the fabric of space

"The key to Luke's turning is the moment when he and Leia realize the Emperor is no longer defined by his physical form, but has become a chaotic nexus of dark energies that swell and burst open the fabric of space, tearing apart everything in the vicinity, human and machine."

Sidious after killing his master shakes the stars themselves and causes constellation to align in new orbits.

"A tremor took hold of the planet. But the moment didn’t constitute an ending so much as a true beginning, long overdue; it was less a transformation than an intensification—a gravitic shift."-Plaguies Novel.

The Chosen One

Now for the cherry on top Anakin Skywalker the chosen one. a.k.a the greatest character in fiction now to start.

Anakin is referred to as a shatter point in the force by Mace Windu and that everything depended on him. This is not hyperbolic but in literal sense as it speaks on his power and seen from the standpoint through the very Force itself

And finally his best feat and best feat in Star Wars arguably. Anakin rag dolling the ones the literal embodiments of the force when he activates Full Potential.
