    Full Plot

    The Ranger Slayer

Lord Drakkon — a version of Tommy Oliver who never escaped from darkness — ruled his reality. Killing all those who stood in his way, including his mentor, Rita Repulsa. After an unspecified amount of time in control, a small group of rebels (led by this reality’s Kimberly Hart) fought against Lord Drakkon, hoping to regain some semblance of control.

Kimberly, alongside Bulk, scouted Drakkon controlled zones, helping those in trouble along the way. During a brawl in a field hospital, the two discovered a gravely injured Matthew Cook, who died before being transported to safety. In a moment of grief and anger, Kimberly knew she had to end Drakkon once and for all.

After fighting through waves of Drakkon’s Ranger Sentries, Kimberly reached Drakkon’s throne room. Refusing to accept his offer of joining him, Drakkon cast a spell on her, similar to the one Rita cast on him all those years ago, turning her into his Ranger Slayer.

    Prisoner

After the events of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #11-16, Lord Drakkon had entered the main timeline. In a weakened and powerless state, he was captured by the Promethean military and transferred to Promethea for detainment.

    Saba No More
    Saba No More

Billy Cranston, the Blue Ranger, wandered the halls of Promethea and stumbled across a captured Drakkon. After Drakkon explained how he’d been in their reality for months, Billy teleports away to help the other Rangers in a fight against Finster’s giant monsters that spanned the globe.

Jason Scott, furious with the knowledge of Drakkon in his own world, confronts Grace Sterling and calls off their agreement to aid one another. The Rangers return to the Command Centre and seek the advice of Zordon. The Saba of Drakkon’s world sought out Drakkon to end things once and for all. Yet, Saba overestimated Drakkon and was destroyed. Now free, Drakkon used a combination of Saba’s power and magic to leave Promethea. Tensions continue to rise between Grace and the Rangers as they discover Drakkon escaped.

    Evil No More

During a routine battle between the Power Rangers and Goldar, their fight was interrupted by an unknown Pink Ranger. This Ranger singlehandedly took down a squad of Putty and Goldar. After Goldar retreated she turned on the Rangers, isolating Kimberly from her team. She revealed herself to be a version of her from the “future” working alongside Lord Drakkon as his Ranger Slayer. After toying around with them, The Slayer realises that she returned to the wrong year and flees.

    Gravezord Power
    Gravezord Power

Rita Repulsa, intrigued by this new evil Ranger, reached out to her, offering her own magic to power her disabled Megazord. Accepting the offer, the Ranger Slayer wreaked havoc throughout Angel Grove with her Gravezord (a Megazord comprised of destroyed Zords). A Megazord battle ensued between the Slayer and Power Rangers, with the Gravezord coming out on top, easily handling the Dinozord’s power.

Watching from the Command Center, Alpha and Zordon are attacked by the Ranger Slayer herself, disabling Zordon and damaging Alpha, revealing that the Gravezord can operate itself. Jason, worried for their mentor’s safety, sends Kimberly back to the base. With her teammates facing against the Gravezord, Kimberly fights against the Ranger Slayer. Having to play dirty to win, Kimberly sets off the Command Center’s defences and breaks the spell on the Ranger Slayer. With the spell broken, the Gravezord powers down in a burst of electricity.

After apologising for her actions, the two Kimberly’s go to the Juice Bar to get to know one another. Pretending to be Kimberly’s cousin, Sally, she stumbles into a very alive Matthew Cook. Unable to cope with seeing him, she exits the Juice Bar and to her surprise, is greeted by a now free Drakkon. Drakkon, sensing something is different, realises that his Ranger Slayer is no longer under his control and abandons her in the past.

Back in the Command Center, the Slayer searches the archives for Tommy Oliver, only to be interrupted by Billy who she knocks out before he can do anything. Kimberly, not long after, discovers an unconscious Billy and a very suspicious Slayer crouched over him. Before another fight breaks out between the two Kimberly’s, the Slayer convinces her younger self to trust her before leaving once again.

Returning to her damaged Megazord, the Ranger Slayer repowers it with a Green Chaos crystal but is discovered by a curious Matthew Cook. But this time she reveals everything to him. Elsewhere, the Power Rangers fight against another batch of Finster’s giant monsters. Outnumbered and overpowered, they are saved by an automated Gravezord, who they combine with, creating the Mega-Gravezord.

Meanwhile, the Slayer finds Tommy Oliver, shooting him with the Green Chaos Crystal and setting into motion the catalyst that will change the course of the future. Teleporting out before Tommy can come to his senses, she took the Gravezord with her. She is discovered by Grace Sterling who offers her help.

    Destruction of the Multiverse

    Death of a Ranger
    Death of a Ranger

In the distant future, the Time Force Rangers watch a time fracture from within their Megazord, aiming to seal it. The fracture pulsates, damaging the Megazord, absorbing the Blue, Green and Yellow Rangers. Wes Collins (the Red Ranger) sends Jen Scotts (the Pink Ranger) back in time to find the source of the fracture and prevent it, sacrificing himself to give her time to escape. As she flees, a shadowed figure reaches out of the fracture, narrowly missing Jen as she escapes.

Back in the present, taking advantage of the fact the Rangers are yet to meet Ninjor, Drakkon finds Ninjor, creator of the Power Coins, asking him to fix his damaged Morpher and Power Coin. After the repair is complete, Drakkon betrays Ninjor and captures him.

During a date between Kim and Tommy, Drakkon ambushes them, fatally stabbing Tommy with Saba. To save him, Kimberly opens fire on Drakkon and to both of their surprise is joined by Jen Scotts, aiding her against Drakkon to no avail. Tommy dies in the arms of Kimberly. Over the next few days, the Rangers grieve over the loss of their friend. Jason takes on the power of the Dragon Dagger and Dragon Shield under Zordon’s guidance.

After the funeral, Jen explains what is happening to reality. Rather than happening linearly, it is happening simultaneously, creating rifts and fractures in time. If it goes unfixed, the multiverse could shatter.

    The War

    Zordon Denied
    Zordon Denied

Drakkon begins his assault on the multiverse, starting with the Samurai Rangers, easily overpowering them alongside his army of Ranger Sentries. With the help of the Mighty Morphin Rangers, Lauren Shiba (the current Red Samurai Ranger), escapes capture, leaving her depowered team behind.

Zordon, concerned with the fate of the universe, requests an audience with the Emissaries — the Emissaries of the Morphin Masters themselves. He asked for their aid in defending the multiverse from Drakkon’s assault and explaining how Drakkon rose to power. Unphased by his request, they denied him aid and returned him to the Command Center.

    Drakkon's Army
    Drakkon's Army

Attempting to gather as much power as quickly as possible, Drakkon himself seeks out some of the more powerful Ranger teams, infiltrating the Zeo team and acquiring their Zeonizers. He ambushed the Space Rangers and directly attacked the Ninja Steel Rangers and retrieved a piece of the red Ninja Star. However, the RPM Rangers were the only team he did not directly assault, instead he sent an android to convince Dr K to join his side by threatening to destroy Corinth, only for the android to end up destroyed by the doctor. His attack on the S.P.D. Rangers was the only unsuccessful battle he faced early on in his conquest.

In the World of the Coinless, Skull reveals himself to a captured Zack that he is undercover within Drakkon’s forces, breaking his cover to rescue this world’s Zack.

With the help of Jen, Alpha 5 and Billy, Zordon sends out a warning message to the multiverse, warning them of Drakkon and his goal. The first to respond is Dr K of the RPM team, requesting aid as the city of Corinth is under siege from Drakkon’s forces, barely being held back by her team of Rangers. Cutting the conversation short, Zack from the Coinless world gives the Rangers coordinates to somewhere within his world.

Splitting into smaller groups, the Rangers begin their rescue mission.

    • Billy, Zack, and Trini head to the World of the Coinless.
    • Jen and Kimberly search for surviving Rangers to bring back to the Command Center.
    • Jason and Lauren head to Corinth to help Dr K.

    The Resistance

Upon their arrival in the World of the Coinless, the Rangers are greeted by their alternate selves, all except Billy. Catching up on what has happened since their last visit, they discover that the rebellion’s bases have been destroyed by Scorpina and that Ninjor is now under Drakkon’s control. Realising that the key to defeat Drakkon may lie in Ninjor, they break into Drakkon’s fortress in search for Ninjor.

During the rescue, the Rangers and Coinless are ambushed by Finster-5 (an amalgamation of Finster & Alpha-5) and Ranger Sentries. Coinless Zack sacrifices himself to protect the main Zack from a blaster shot. After escaping the fortress with Ninjor, the Coinless Trini grieves over the loss of her world’s Zack. In a moment of rest, Ninjor explains that Drakkon plans to enter the Morphin Grid itself.

    The Search

Travelling through space, Jen and Kim discuss how regardless of what happens, the Tommy she knows will never return. The smallest of changes will become easily noticeable to her. Receiving an energy signature of the space colony, Terra Venture, they rush to the rescue. Arriving too late, they realise that the only Ranger left is the Pink Galaxy Ranger, Karone. Returning to the Pterodactyl Zord with Karone, where other Rangers await to enter the main timeline, they receive a distress signal from Alpha, requesting their aid in Corinth.

    Corinth's Defence
    Corinth's Defence

Corinth, the highly defendable domed city which prevents teleportation within it, forces Jason and Lauren to traverse the desert that surrounds it, giving them a chance to get to know each other. While connecting over their roles as leaders, the two arrive shortly before Drakkon and his army of Ranger Sentries and Evil Monsters.

Attempting to buy Dr K more time, the RPM Rangers and Jason defend Corinth from the onslaught of Ranger Sentries. Lauren and the RPM team engage in combat with Drakkon, only to be quickly beaten without him trying. Before Drakkon could drain their powers, the Rangers rescued by Jen and Kimberly attack from the sky, saving them momentarily, although they were overwhelmed by Ranger Sentries and depowered.

In a final act to save the universe, Dr K sacrifices Corinth to save the remaining Rangers, asking Jason to tear down the dome so that they can flee to safety, leaving Corinth open to siege.

    An Army of Power Rangers

With the combined efforts of Grace Sterling and Dr K, they find a way to defend the Ranger’s Morphers from the Black Dragon Cannons, allowing them to stay morphed if hit. With Ninjor’s knowledge of Drakkon’s plan to enter the Morphin Grid by amassing a large amount of Morphin Energy, the Rangers make plans to stop him.

Andros of the Space Rangers, crash lands outside the Command Center with knowledge of where the captured Rangers are being held. Not long after, the remaining teams from across the multiverse converge on the Command Center, ready for war. Zordon and Anubis Cruger seek out an uneasy alliance with Rita Repulsa.

Before beginning his final assault, Drakkon contacts his Ranger Slayer and discovers to his disappointment and anger that she is no longer under his control and leaves her stuck in the past.

    The Final Battle

    Jason's Sacrifice
    Jason's Sacrifice

Teleporting to the Coinless World, the Army of Rangers face off against Drakkon’s ever-increasing Ranger Sentries. Rangers combine powers and Megazords to create brand new ways of defeating their enemies. Fighting valiantly against the Armies of Drakkon, the Rangers begin falling one-by-one to Drakkon himself, who picks them off with ease.

As Rangers and Megazord fall to the might of Serpentera, Jason takes on Serpentera alone but is killed before he can do damage to it, crushed within the jaws of the gigantic Zord. However, his death was not in vain as his attack destroyed part of Drakkon’s fortress, severing the ties to the Morphin Grid that the Ranger Sentries once had and turning the tide of the battle.

Distracted by an attack from a team of Red Rangers, Drakkon is attacked by Kimberly, who lands a long-ranged shot on him with the Dragon Dagger, finally injuring him. Within the Fortress, Anubis, Rita, Ninjor and Zordon begin to strip Drakkon’s power with a Green Candle. As Drakkon flees to his throne room, he discovers why his powers have weakened, saved from capture by an ambush by Finster-5, who he thanks by killing him. Elsewhere in the fortress, the Ranger Slayer leads a rescue mission to save the captured Rangers, taking them to the safety of Promethea.

    Drakkon Injured

In the final moments of the multiverse, Drakkon turns on the device connected to the Morphin Grid and enters it himself which emitted a wave of white light that engulfed all within its path, including the Promethea.

    The Heart of a Master

Now finally within the Morphin Grid, Drakkon faces the combined might of the Emissaries as they protect the Heart of a Master — an object capable of controlling reality. Surprised by Drakkon’s newfound power, they are defeated. With the Heart of a Master in his grasp, Drakkon destroys the universe and remakes it in his image.

With his plan complete, Drakkon makes himself the “true hero and god” of his reality, making those who were once his enemies his servants and allies, unaware of their past lives and personalities. But Drakkon’s damaged psyche allowed a hallucination of Tommy Oliver to torment him. This Tommy, with the aid of the Emissaries, entered the new universe.

Now free from limbo, Tommy returned his allies and friends memories and powers to them whilst explaining his return to life and how he made his way to this reality. The Chaos Crystal that the Ranger Slayer shot into him all those years ago saved his life when he was killed by Drakkon, placing him in a state of limbo between realities, unable to do anything but watch reality crumble around him.

    Restarting the Multiverse

In a final assault against the Rangers, Drakkon is defeated by Tommy in a one-on-one fight. Tommy, offering Drakkon a chance for redemption, was disappointed when his offer was turned down. Now, with the Heart of a Master under the control of good, the Rangers with the help of the Emissaries enter the Morphin Grid as the new reality shatters, leaving Drakkon to his demise. Together, the Rangers rebuild the universe, knowing that if they do so, their memories, friendships, and powers they gained will be lost, returning to what they were before everything they experienced.
