    A native of Yorkshire, Staz (aka Stewart Johnson) began freelancing in 1986. He originally started illustrating for the UK RPG market, before moving onto comics. He began working for British publishers Fleetway and Marvel UK. He left for two years for advertising and returned In 1993 to work for the 'big two' American publishers DC Comics & Marvel Comics. He has two daughters Alice, & Amy.
