I was already pretty much disappointed when DC changed Diana origin again (I have lost count )when Area told Zeus created her as a Weapon to kill him not because Hippolyta wanted a child .And then he transformed into that hideous costume with his face and pornstache

It is not Actor's fault. It is Patty's fault . She should have covered the face and chosen better costume . He could have been great Ares with proper script and Direction .If he didn't change at all he would still have been intimidating.

At least we have the TV series and 2009 animated movie. We can only hope there some director who understand WW will direct a Proper WW origin story

Why does it matter when the movie was released? A bad movie is a bad movie. And I'm just giving my opinions on it. If you don't agree, then that's fine. People still complain about BvS and Suicide Squad, so I don't really see how this is any different. And because this is the first WW movie on the silver screen, it's obviously going to get critiqued a lot more.

yeah personally I feel the film is flawed but good. Could have been so much worst. I think really its kind of equivilent to the original batman movie that was great but took liberties with Batmans origin. My hope is she will become so popular that some filmmaker whose an actual fan will come and course correct a lot of the nonsense from this version of WW like Nolan did for Batman.
