The new female incarnation of the Black Knight first appeared in the Vengeance limited series, written by Joe Casey and illustrated by Nick Dragotta. She has since joined the Young Masters, an enclave of young villains who have patterned themselves after members of various incarnations of the Masters of Evil to oppose the Young Avengers and students of the Avengers Academy.
Her relationship to the late Nathan Garrett, the original villainous Black Knight, or to his nephew, the former Avenger Dane Whitman--if any--has yet to be revealed.
