Domino takes on Grizzly! But can she bring herself to fight a long-time friend? Then Cable makes a major decision - to return to his future timeline!

Cable takes Aliya to Blaquesmith and they learn that Cable must go to the future to save his future self. They make the time-jump while Blaquesmith gets Domino to tag along after she had just killed one of her only friends.

Synopsis

In a cabin in the Rockies, Domino and Grizzly square off, Domino just having confirmed that Grizzly is a serial killer. Domino tries to take the impending fight to the roof, but Grizzly wrangles her down to ground level. The two duke it out but Grizzly is just too fast. He keeps talking about how someone is making him commit the killings. Domino manages to get free of him and gets her gun on him. He breaks down and begs Domino to kill him. She hesitates and he swiftly reaches out and makes her shoot. Grizzly's last words are that Genesis, Cable's son, has made him go crazy. Grizzly dies in Domino's arms.

In Maryland, Cable arrives at Blaquesmith's hideout with his future/dead-but-alive wife in his arms. He lays Aliya on a table and Blaquesmith tends to her. She awakens and informs the men that she has traveled through time to bring Cable back to help her lover, Nathan Dayspring. Aliya very shortly discovers that Cable is himself Nathan Dayspring. She has many questions but refrains from asking because of the Askani teachings. Instead, she asks Cable to return with her to the future to save a young Cable. Blaquesmith assures the two that he can help them make the jump. He sends them. A vision of Mother Askani appears to Blaquesmith, which confirms to him that another person must also be sent.

In Colorado, Domino buries Grizzly as best as she can in the frozen earth. As the cabin goes up in flames behind her, Domino feels as if she is being pulled. She knows Blaquesmith is doing something; she is sent to the far future to meet Cable and Aliya.
