Okay I loved the x-men in the late 90s, especially with cecilia reyes in the picture........ but now I'm just fed up of waiting for her to miraculously appear, like is she dead, im confuesd bc she kinda DISSAPEARED! plz help with my confusion!

oh yea Mike Marts said in New Excalibur #1 (like in the back part were the feeback) said she's not dead bc like they would show it in the comics, which i agree with him....

But it's not like it's hard to bring her back, it was an off-panel death after all.

At the X-Men panel at Comic-Con, someone asked about here.  They didn't know themselves if she was alive or dead.  Marjorie Liu, writer of NYX joked that she would take the character.  She said the kids in NYX could use a doctor.

The panel wasn't opposed to her coming back but really didn't know her current state.  So that can be taken as she's not 100% dead.

With the X-characters, I'd imagine it's hard to keep track if they're dead or alive.  They flip back and forth all the time.

When the time is right or a writer comes up with a somewhat believable way, they probably will.

In this case the confusion comes from that she was confirmed dead in a letters page in some random issue instead of in the actual issue where she supposedly died (Weapon X #5)

Beast should approach her for his science x-team maybe? She's not a genius but she'd fit in there, they need a female anyway.
