Batman's one punch knockout of Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Superman Fighting Doomsday to the death, Captain America shot dead, Magneto seeping out Wolverine's adamantium through his pores, The Fantastic Four meet Galactus... comics is full of amazing moments.

So the challenge is this: Do a pin-up illustration of your favorite comic book storyline moment. There must be a moment you cherish, you remember, that it affected you. So do a poster of it! It can be superheroes, manga, horror... anything you saw in comics.

@ramsillustrations: That works! The issue right after this one showing the Sentinel crushing Storm and practically atomizing Wolverine was also an awesome cover. Claremont and Byrne's Uncanny X-Men run had so many epic story arcs.

@magistros: Absolutely, how could I forget that follow up cover. Yeah that was the series in the business at the time, huge seller, what a solid team working on that book.

Back in 1987 The Justice League was relaunched. Guy Gardner Green Lantern wanted to take over as the boss of the group. Batman got on his nerves. Eventually he challenged Batman, took his ring off and launched at him. Batman knocked him out with one punch.

This here is a tribute to that awesome issue.

I hope I'm not too late. This is a scene from the Charlton E-Man series, Issue 6, I felt that the Nicola Cuti script treated the reader as a bit more adult than some of the other comics around. Art by Joe Staton. Tried to capture the off register colours of the comics of that period. This issue also feature the first John Byrne professional art on the Rog2000 backup strip. Even the names were fun, Nova Kane.... dentists will get that joke.
