I love coming up with concepts but hate fleshing them out. Usually because its a one man job even if your working with othwr people.

Usually I love the concepts I do on my own, but the ideas I have with Warsman are usually the ones I hype all over.

I wanna make my character as strong as Thee Champion or so, but then I read his bio and it's like

Stands require more of me than any normal accounts I've ever made. That's why they're so fun!

There are some post I read and I completely don't understand what the writer is trying to say. But some are so touchy that if I ask any sort Of question about it they think I'm acting like a b1tch when I really just don't understand and I'm asking because I need to.

Impero is good at making balanced alts I think, you can usually find a few weaknesses which he even points out in his bios. Like once you get past Champ's energy matrix you are set.

Sometimes I worry that when I comment something like "Nice read, man! Keep it up!" on a post, it'll seem flat and generic. I keep trying to rephrase ways of saying what I actually think without making it seem like something I'm just writing out of courtesy.

When I actually read something and I like it I'll usually recall something that stood out to me from the story.

I prefer to avoid fighting because I've witnessed one thing several times: No self-selling.

I've been in RPs where people would deliberately unleash their most elaborate moves and mightiest powers/weapons in the beginning of the interaction and immediately go for the kill, even when it doesn't meet their character's personality or established fighting experience, like if they make a 16 y/o student who suddenly pulls army-level Jujitsu out of their ass for the sake of winning the fight. Sell yourself, don't just cling onto proving that you are better than your opponent. Be good for yourself, not the people around you. It's self-sabotaging bullshit that usually just kills my interest in the interaction.

I also dislike when people make characters that are untouchable for the sake of just pursuing the pissing contest. Ridiculous.

You don't have these things in a competitive RPG fight, you're gonna have a bad time.

@bonfire: I have all of those except EMP resistance. Electricity based attacks are actually my weakness, depending on where the strike lands. Well, the sword isn't metal, but same idea.

Magic resistance? Nope. I just try to think ways around it.

Bradshaw has telepathy resistance for days.

Almost everything I use is immune to EMPs. The level of electromagnetic pulse required to damage a lot of their gear is directed energy weapons grade. Meaning you have a pulse so strong that it can kill people and destroy anything, not just electronics.

I don't need fictional metals. I HAVE CARBON NANOTUBES. Except for Bold.

@marcus_crowne: same here with the no self selling thing. Typically characters are designed a particular way and thus should be played as such. If a move would hit, let it. If the character isn't a go for the throat type then don't. There's some wiggle room of course (mainly in that need to sell and rights to keep alt alive department). Generally though I'm on the same page.

Sha and I switched accounts for a day and it was the most amazing thing we ever did. Everyone was so confused.

I think I've spent too much time on the battling part of RPing. Like, ever since I started really.

Now that I have actual characters to play with and am married to a real life Brazilian supermodel I can do STORIES! Brilliant stories with sweeping narratives, soul-crushing emotional highpoints, and battles but we're not focusing on that now.

This is going to be bizarre, and I love it!

I've got the concept for the first chapter of Leon's story pretty well planned out in my head, but I have trouble working myself up to writing long things.
