    Biography

    Michael Chiklis is a producer, director and actor, most notably playing characters in numerous crime dramas. He also starred as Jim Powell in the television series No Ordinary Family, a family of superpowered humans. As Jim Powell, he possessed super strength and invulnerability, with similar powers to a Golden Age Superman, being able to jump tall buildings.

    Michael is also the creator of the comic series Pantheon.

    Michael Chiklis portrays a corrupt policeman Vic Mackey in the TV-series The Shield, and his likeness is used in the IDW comic The Shield: Spotlight.

    Michael played Ben Grimm, the ever-lovin' blue eyed Thing in the Tim Story film adaptions of the Fantastic Four. This includes 2005's Fantastic Four and 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. He also returned to voice the Thing on an episode of Robot Chicken and the 2005 video game. Stan Lee gave Chiklis a seal of approval for doing a great job playing the Thing.
