     Monstrom attacks!
Monstrom is a creature that sank beneath a murky swamp in the Bayou a thousand years ago. Monstrom emerged from the swamp when a novelist named John was looking for his son Billy in the swamp. John shot the monster with his rifle but it remained unscathed. John and his son was able to escape when Monstrom battled an alligator. The novelist reached his home and packed his family into their car. Monstrom was coming closer and the family sped off before it got crushed by the creature's gigantic stature. John informed the locals about the incoming monster and they made a barricade. The locals unleashed a flurry of shots from their shotguns as Monstrom appeared but their efforts were useless against the lumbering creature. A violent storm passed by during the fight and a bolt of lightning ignited a telephone pole. Monstrom was afraid of fire so the locals forced the monster back into the swamp with some torches. Monstrom fell into a pit of quicksand and sank underneath the swamp again.
