Best Bleach OSTs - OST 3s

I'll be ranking the Third Bleach Osts based on their influence on my taste and my likeness of them. This list will only be made of the OSTS from the Third Soundtrack.

Listed Order - Noir Gear for song sources

  1. Escalon. OST 3 #10 - If you don't already, know this is Shinji's theme. The true classiness of Spanish guitar is all to be heard in this OST. I recall this first being played when Shinji came and fought Grimmjow. If you know "Sheesh..., you really are a hothead"(chapter 236), you'll understand the context and importance of this song. It's the funk of the vizard like Cop's Robbers or Dancin in the dunes. It's like Aliens invading Spain. It's wacky and vibe. Full of tasing the character's the vizards are. It makes a nice ringtone as well.
  2. La Distancia Para un Duelo. OST 3 #1. - I was originally going to put Fiesta de Guerra in this number 2 spot(ost #6) but I chose against it. Simply more to my liking. Ulquiorra's physiological warfare was the reason he was scary. This reminds me of when he fought Vasto Lorde Ichigo and regenerated. "My greatest ability is not to attack, but to regenerate at high speeds". Ulquiorra's battle song. This reminds me of Ichigo fighting in the Hallway or whenever Ulquiorra said "Don't lose your composure, Don't break your stance, Stretch out your awareness and don't let your guard down for even a second". Truly badass.
  3. Anguish #19/Princess in Captivity #20 OST 3 - Anguish would be the song you'd play when 2 villains bump into each other. This song would be used like when Yamamoto and Aizen exchanged words and the fire burst through the ground with Yamamoto burned trying to save everyone. Princess in Captivity gives Hueco Mundo vibes such as Syazel or when Starrk suddenly appeared in front of Ichigo and Kenpachi and took Orihime. It gives the chills and the one instrument you'll hear around 0:53ish in the OST makes the OST, the OST. This is something I could imagine being As Nodt's theme.
  4. Domino Del Chad. OST 3 #13 - The graceful rock and constant guitar riff on top of the instrument I can't picture(the shaking sound) gives a 70s disco vibe. It's smooth, it's something else. It fits well seeing it was used against Gantenbainne who had a massive Afro and a hollow sunglassplate around his eyes. The song of the only man who can rock in a flowered shirt. "You are getting slower. La MUERTE!" is all I can think of when hearing this song. Just listen from 1:00 to 2:00 in the OST.
  5. Quincy's Craft. OST 3 #12 - Anytime Uryu did something cunning this would play. After all, it does say "Quincy" in the title. The scene that sticks out to me the most is when Uryu fought Cirucci or anytime he uses Seele Schneider. Albeit a slightly repetitive sound, the song is that of intelligence. When this is played, you know you've been outwitted by Uryu. Even Togabito from hell(Taikon) has fallen to this song. This theme is sampled for a darker, twisted OST for the sternritters would be prime.

Best Bleach OSTS - Ost 2s

I'll be ranking the Second Bleach Osts based on their influence on my taste and my likeness of them. This list will only be made of the OSTS from the Second Soundtrack.

Listed Order - Noir Gear for song sources

  1. On the Verge of Insanity. OST 2 # 3 - The eerie background of the constant thump of the piano, the elevating music, and the jittery "elelel" sound that comes in at random times gives a presence of imminent doom. This reminds me of the peak of the bount arc. It gives me chills when I hear it as though I can't trust the place I'm in. It was meant for a scare and completed the assignment in the best possible way.
  2. Diago 45*, Dodo Dance and Splaaash Boogie. OST 2 # 5, 6, and 7 - These soundtracks give a sense of fun charisma and a silly scene. It reminds me of Pesche and Dondochakka. If you recall when Ikkaku bribed Urahara and Toshiro that's what this song should remind you of. The french hum of Diago 45*, the casualness of Dodo Dance, and the upbeat "ding, ding" of Splaaash Boogie mark the greatest comedic OSTS in all of anime. Few stand up to this.
  3. Whisper of the Apocalypse. OST 2 # 17 - It would've been this, Shadow's Masquerade or Citadel of the Bount. If you're a true fan you'll be reminded of Barragan's quotes "How amusing.. it seems that even Soul Reapers fear death" or "Rot Arragante". Also, Jin Kariya's theme. The eerie chanting reminds me of the Hellverse soundtrack but ethereal. The organ in the background gives off-peak vampire feelings which the bounts were. Somehow I liken this song to Treachery. It contains vibes that fit the scenes it's used and its usage was plentiful. Not used too often but not used to little.
  4. Here to Stay. OST 2 # 11. It reminds me of the simple times in life. Carefree. They say Bleach didn't end with a goodbye, but with a "See you next time". Let's embrace that. It reminds me of emotional quotes like "The two hardest things to say in life are hello for the first time and goodbye for the last". It's a song that makes you want to move past your difficulty but look back and be proud of it. A memorable track.
  5. Back to the Wall. OST 2 # 18. Heh. It gives off the Arrancar arc but Hueco Mundo vibes when the narrator would speak "In order to save Inoue Orihime, Ichigo, and his friends...). This and Confrontation go well together. The ultimate nostalgia of early bleach but the feeling of being trapped in a never-ending puzzle. Missing the last fitting piece in a nearly completed puzzle. It's just suspense.

Favorite Bleach Character

The Reason I love Byakuya is his arrogance, powers, backstory, and overall Morals. He ties into a deep and powerful character that I've always loved. I've always loved Byakuyas Powers and Overall character. It reminds me of myself in a way. He's changed a lot over the past years, From Wanting his sister dead to Her being his Biggest pride. Cherry Blossoms as power and even Kido and His power itself. Every time I see Byakuya this, or that I got to it. It's just a Connection with the Character and their overall Morals. Not only do his powers amaze me but just his outward appearance as well. It's a deep feeling/understanding of the character for some reason. It's like when you eat some Mac n Cheese and connect with the greatness of the Mac n Cheese(Now I want some Mac N cheese) and just savor it. Just the wit and the character itself was probably Kubos best masterpiece. Just a Great character and overall well Made. I call this Kubos art. Even the way he Looks, Speaks, Walks and Talks is pretty entrancing. He suits Himself Very well and I wouldn't even trade him as my Favorite character. Just a Work of art.

He is ... The best

Best Bleach OSTS - OST 1s

I'll rank in the order of how I like the music and how it suits my taste. I generally go for a light, nostalgic pseudo-jazz type of vibe but the Spanish funk and nostalgic short OSTS(Creeping Shadows, Dodo Dance, Anguish, Princess in Captivity, etc). The lighthearted somber music such as(Never meant to belong, Here to Stay, a Requiem, Torn apart, etc) will be featured in the top 5 list. I won't add in Movies(Hellverse, Memories of Nobody, Fade to Black, etc) since they stand above most of the prominent OSTS in the series. Hellverse especially. This Listing will only be of OST 1s. Now to the listing order.

Listed Order - NoirGear for Song Sources

  1. Going Home. OST 1 # 22 - This one always gets me. It's the greatest non-lyrical song/OST I've ever listened to and I've listened to quite a few. I've actually listened to this on repeat for an hour extension several times. Sometimes it may be when I read manga or when I just want to listen to a nostalgic light tune. It's not distracting and the beat is catchy. Although I don't recall it to be all that prominent an OST in the series, it's one of the best-played songs. If you listen to it, you'll never forget the tune.
  2. Creeping Shadows. OST 1 # 7 - This is a nostalgic track. The guitar riff, the chanting "the blood is taken oooo the blood is taken" gives you an eerie vibe that dives into the previous generation of music. It reminds me much of the Soul Society arc in the series. Raw Breath of Danger was close but this one had a little bit of a different ... ideal to it. It's just different compared to the other eerie Soul Society tracks. All the OST 1s do considering that they were most prominent in the series. The feeling of the Soul Society arc rush. What's going to happen, when will it happen, who will it happen to, etc. The music that kept you on your toes. It was truly the greatest musical arc in Bleach(FB arc and Early Arrancar arc are close contenders imo).
  3. Destiny Awaits OST 1 # 14 - This sets me back to the Soul Society arcs fights, mainly Byakuya's. This is basically Byakuya Kuchiki's theme. The battle between him and Renji, his battle with Ichigo, all that with the music in the background gave you a thrilling rush for the battles to come. When you hear the track, you immediately think of Byakuya. I'll throw in a quote "Surely you haven't forgotten, that I to have achieved Bankai". It also reminds me a tad bit of Rukia's execution for some reason. Although I don't recall the music playing at that moment(or in the fight(Byakuya fight(Renji))), it fits the narrative.
  4. Heat of the Battle OST 1 # 16 - The "do do dodo" repeated with the thrill of the song makes a great track. It puts you at the scene and gives a sense of uprising danger. It's nostalgic, simple, and catchy. I do recall this playing in the early bount arc(I may be mistaken) but all in all it's a great track. Played at the right moments, hits the correct tunes, and has the perfect place of personality(when and where it's played).
  5. Ditto for Daddy OST 1 # 6 - The funny soundtrack. Played mostly in moments with Kon. This one was actually a close contender with Oh So tired. Often played in funny moments that has that ring of "nostalgia" that brings you into the anime itself. I chose this one because it really envelopes that funny business. The whistle ring, the beat, the moments played all make the song itself. I also thought of comical world and Head in the Clouds. They may have the same nostalgia Season 1 Bleach and Early Seasons of Bleach but the song doesn't hit the same.
