I think the only 5 powersets at a time is a fun gimmick, but the 50% thing is a double edged sword and I'm not sure what to think of it.

Take in point how one of his powersets was Beast. Now going by 60's humanoid Beast, his grab bag of powers include super strength (1 ton), super speed (40mph), then superhuman agility, reflexes, stamina, dexterity, and healing.

However, with Mimic's half-power stipulation, his strength gets reduced to 1,000lbs. and he's now slower than Usain Bolt, so are the rest of his abilities that he gets from Beast watered down to at least above average? Well, his healing should still be twice the speed of a normal human, anyway.

So while this stipulation prevents him from being godlike, which is good, it also means that he's almost forced to only copy the abilities of powerful mutants as to not be redundant.

This could work to his advantage though in some cases, as with mutants whose powers can be as detrimental to the user as to other people. Case in point, X-Man, who's power rivals the Dark Phoenix, but at the same time are also killing him.

It would be interesting, with half of Flash's speed, half of Superman's speed, and half of Wonder Woman's speed, he should almost be as fast as Flash.

Or with half of Superman's strength and half of Wonder Woman's strength, he should be almost as strong as Superman.

What other Leaguer's powers should he have? Captain Atom? His energy powers combined with Superman's heat vision will make up then differences in power. Not only that, but Captain Atom's energy absorption and manipulation should negate Superman's weakness to kryptonite and red solar energy. Captain Atom's added strength should also push him closer to Superman's level, if not exceed him.

Who should be the 5th one? Martian Manhunter? Might be overkill now. Unless, we go with Superman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Captain Atom, and...?

He may not be getting used very much because he is overpowered and then authors just can't write anything believable in regards to him.

His only real weaknesses are that he doesn't appear to have the same level of mastery of the people he's copying, and being overwhelmed by numbers.

@kid_omega_prime: 616 Mimic has all the powers of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Angel, Iceman, and Professor Xavier simultaneously, but it would seem that he doesn't have the same level of skill with their powers.

But while he has somehow permanently copied their powers, he can still copy the powers of any other mutant he's near.

Exiles Mimic can permanently copy the powers of five mutants at a time, except at half the potential of the original's. He can always switch them for other powers though.

However, he has to wait a minute for his body to adjust before he can rebalance his attributes again.

Like, look, I like Nightcrawler but I have been saying since the beginning of the reboot that they should have the original X-Men. Besides, there are too many blue people in the movie, it's starting to look like a joke.

Even First Class could have had the original X-Men plus Magneto and Mystique, but then they leave the X-Men at the end for obvious reasons.

No offense, but it's like everyone voting Itachi didn't read the manga.

If Itachi could had stopped Obito, he would have. Itachi was no match for Obito, he admitted this. Itachi never tried to stop Obito until right before he died when he set a trap for Obito instead of challenging Obito, and he didn't even think that it would really work.

Obito used Itachi. He used Itachi to get money for Akatsuki, he used Itachi to capture Bijuus, and he used Itachi to get Sasuke.

Obito wins.
