It's kind of crazy to think that we've been talking about the Skrull invasion for almost a year. Sure the 'seeds' were planted before that but it wasn't until January that the Skrull Watch thread started. There's been some cool stuff. There's been a couple 'holy crap' moments. I hate to say it but I don't think there was as many of those as I thought there'd be. Then again, the last issue still needs to come out. I'm curious what Bendis has in store for us.

A lot could be riding on this. Will it be a happy ending? Will there be any shocks? Hopefully there won't be shocks just for the sake of being...shocking. I don't want any sensationalized deaths just to have something big in the last issue.

As much as I've enjoyed the arc and (most of) the tie-ins, it will be nice seeing things go back to normal. Or at least what counts as normal in the lives of the Marvel characters.
