But Rogue Storm is a unhinged, no longer cares for the preservation of Life and is willing to destroy anything and everyone...........Basically she became another Version of the Phoenix.

Goddess Storm is for all intents and purpose Storm manipulating Divine Energy essentially making her an actual God or Goddess.

Going based off what we saw on panel? Not even remotely close in terms of power. The biggest issue I have with RogueStorm is that she was nothing but hype and narration. GoddessStorm gave us a damn good feat right off the bat and is still giving us decent stuff. RogueStorm's entire claim to fame was the narration hyping her up to basically being Storm's own version of the Phoenix.

We'll have to wait and see. Hickman is restarting the X-verse for the most part but the vast majority (all if we're being honest) of Goddess Storm's development has taken place in the Black Panther-verse. I'm not sure who's going to get custody of her or if Hickman is even willing to play ball with other non-X writers. He may very well have his own plans for Storm so like I said we'll have to wait and see.

What is Goddess Storm?

@pollymars: she unlocked her spiritual powers passed her by her ancestors. Oshtur favored her ancestor and gave them powers.

While it was untapped she was able to hold earth high priestess, hold eternity in her mind, be a candidate for sorcerer supreme and more. Adversary feared her untapped spiritual powers in the 80’s.

But I don’t think divine/Spiritual powers = Her magic potential though
