Welcome everyone on the apex pretador show

When it comes to Thanos, there is something which makes me invested in him, even though I've given up on all other current marvel comic runs. I like him so much that I'm going to do something, that is, start a new trend here - a spoiler free review for the latest Thanos issue. I hope you enjoy

Thanos #12 spoiler-free review:

Rating - 3.5 out of 5

Verdict - Hot

Art - 4 out of 5 Top tier

Ending - Feels somewhat climatic, but leaves something missing, wanting for more. Comes in full circle. Less than satisfying but more than decent.

Predictionsfor next issue - Heavily unpredictable, potentially start of a cosmic event or cosmic war.

Should I get it: Unless you are an action-freak, Yes.

This issue, an improvement over the last one in art, dialogue, context and feels iconic. We see hints that the smart, unique, crafty Thanos of the old might return soon.

@apex_pretador: Sorry, not interested. By the time I start reading any Post-Secret Wars comics, the new Spider-man movie will come out.

So obviously no scans or details just progression and opinion on story etc.

Good issue. The battle was epic( almost as epic as Thanos Vs Odin). Art's better than last issue, bit more detailed. Dialogue for Thanos is a bit off..

New to all this but just posting online for any answers because I was wondering reading this issue how Thanos was able to go toe to toe with Phoenix powered Thane? Did he receive a power upgrade in the god quarry or is it a case of an inexperienced Thane? Even the destruction seems above even his showing with Odin so I was curious. Cheers for any reply simply curious.

@celticbhoy1: Glad you asked , yes thanos did indeed get an upgrade from the god quarry , as its stated he had to claim a power to rival the Phoenix, seeing as he didn't before then we can gather from this showing that he got it and then some

Issue #12 spoiler free review

Rating - 6.5/10

Verdict - not a lot happens but caps off this run

Art - Peraltas art has been brilliant , 8/10

Ending - know him fear him , Fitting image

Predictionsfor next issue - Next issue is the first issue of the Thanos wins arc , where I guess he wins

Should I get it: Not as good as the last issue but contains a few good scenes and possibly worth it for the lasting image of thanos as the end , very thanos quest like, yes it's worth getting to cap this run

... yeah, i agree with this.

it felt kind of rushed, but whatever. it tied up the stuff with death, thane, and champion, nebula, and eros fittingly for thanos, although i wish the story with death would've been more fleshed out.

decent issue

Thought the dialogue was a bit poor but overall OK, still left with some unanswered questions regarding it all but it does open doors for decent possibilities for future story arcs.
