Trapped in the Age of Apocalypse! To acquire their salvation Fantomex must lead a team of X-Men to a distant galaxy and steal the origins of life itself from the god race known as The Celestials! On Earth, within the mysterious floating city know as The Sky, the rest of X-Force fight through an army of twisted versions of Earth's mightiest beings as they seek a route home. If they do not succeed, and soon, Archangel will become the new Apocalypse!

Wolverine and Jean talk about their different worlds and their relationships to the other Logan and Jean. Jean makes attempts at and succeeds in kissing Logan but before this can go any further, a sentinel turns up and attacks them. Jean brings them down and they hurry inside to warn the others. The team discusses another way to get a Life Seed and also of getting the X-Force back to their own world. Fantomex and Psylocke later talk privately, too and he accuses her of not wanting to rescue Warren out of love but only to be needed. She hits him and then they kiss, but she leaves immediately.

The X-Men and the X-Force get on their way to Akkaba Prison to find Gateway, who's supposed to bring them back home. Magneto gets them inside by distracting the Sentinels but he urges them to hurry. Before they can get to Gateway, they are intercepted by the Black Legion which includes some evil version of persons they know (e.g. Ben Grimm, Iron Man, Hulk). And the last one to stand in their way is none other than this world's one-handed Wolverine.

The Story Logan is reminiscing about Jean in New Atlantis, and lament how she was never really is. As he's lamenting about how she died in his arms, the AoA Jean walks up to him and starts to talk about how he may miss 616 Jean, she misses her own husband. She goes on about how she wishes her world had Xavier, how they killed Apocalypse, how AoA Wolverine got killed fighting the still-unnamed new guy, and how she wants Logan to stay with her. They end up kissing (Logan dropped a line about how h...

Uncanny X-Force #12 Okay so there were a couple of main focuses going on in this issue. First off we see Logan's burning passion for Jean Grey even though she's not the original Jean Grey. They both have feelings for each other but their romance is interrupted by a giant Sentinel! Phoenix destroys it with her fire power (which was pretty damn cool). The team meets up with everyone in like the meeting room and they discuss their plans on getting the life seeds and then on how to get back home. Lo...

THE GOODThe art and writing were great, as expected. I loved the introduction to all the "new" AoA characters. It is a motley crew, to be sure.It is nice that Wolverine could meet Kirika and that the could go into battle together. It was also nice to see that rivalries live on across worlds (re: Creed/Wolverine). In the end, everyone comes together against the common enemy. Some come together a bit closer than their spouses might like, but only for fleeting moments...I especially liked how much ...
