Hi everybody!

Welcome to my new Popularity contest, devoted to the Alien Invasion movies.

The rules are simple. Two movies are randomly chosen from the list and you vote for the one you think is better. The movie who loses is eliminated and the remaining one will move to the next round.

But I loved the cartoon Space Battleship Yamato (2010) was based on.

Next matchup - 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) vs The 5th Wave (2016). My vote is for 10 Cloverfield Lane.

This is close. I think I'll go with 10 Cloverfield lane

Cloverfield was the better movie but I'd give my vote to The 5th Wave. Mainly because a movie where intelligent species invade is just more alien like and interesting to me.

This is indeed a closer one, I liked the plot a little more in Cloverfield here than the 5th Wave but it honestly wasn't close to the first movie imo, so I'll vote The 5th Wave.

I actually enjoyed Skyline but this is an easy win for The Faculty.

Haven't seen Faculty and Skyline was boring so I'll just say Faculty.

Would recommend Faculty for sure. A great and underrated classic from the 90s.

@skywalker95: I'm planning on watching it. I read what it's about and it definitely seems like it's worth a watch given the aliens are parasites. Reminds me of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Apparently it's getting a sequel too.
