He literally has one bullet timing feat out of every comic book he's ever appeared in. Three if we count Gotham Knight and Under the Red Hood animations. No, he is not a bullet timer, let alone casual. Cassandra Cain is an example of a real bullet timer and all writers put her on a completely different level from Bruce.

Feat-nerds are the only ones who treat bullet timing like some casual thing. In reality most writers treat it as exclusive to superhumans like Spider-Man, because when you think about it, it's ridiculously over the top and if peak humans were actually doing it, it'd be immersion breaking (to everyone besides feat nerds.) Cassandra Cain is a VERY RARE example of the human who has been conditioned under SUCH inhuman circumstances that she has been able to transcend that boundary and just barely reach the superhuman level of speed required for bullet timing.

Batman isn't a casual bullet timer. I would say he is a trained aim dodger. He fights people with guns, sure, but that is because he is trained to do so and is skilled enough to beat them without getting shot.

I know much more about Bane's feats than I do Batmans and their stats are comparible when Bane is off Venom (with Bane having somewhat better stats, and Bats being much more skilled) Bane only has two feats that even come close to suggesting that he is a bullet timer. If Bane isn't a bullet timer, Bats certainly isn't.

Sure Bats has a few outlier feats that put him at bullet timer level, but as far as im aware he isn't written consistantly on that level

You don't get to casual bullet-timing until you hit the likes of Iron Fist and Spider-man, who I don't consider street level anyway.

Casual bullet-timers tell one liners while dancing between bullets from a small army and snatch sniper rounds coursing towards the back of their heads clean out of the air.

Wouldn't that have more to do with his Bat Suit than his actual durability? And what do you mean tank exactly? As far as im aware Bats has never been able to no sell a bullet

Anyways Batman ( and some others like Bane ) has been ignoring the pain from bullets for awhile now, much before New-52

I wouldn't say so. The closest thing to full on bullet-timing he's ever done was punch a bullet out of the air, but because of how it was depicted it could still be written off as prediction, and even then it's an arguable outlier. I think for 'casual' bullet-timing we need to go a bit higher. Not as far as Iron Fist and Spider-Man, but more along the lines of Cassandra Cain, Blade, and Deathstroke.

@decaf_wizard: IIRC, in Batman and Robin Bruce was shot clean through the gut out of the Bat-Suit and went on to beat up a young Morgan Ducard. Something along those lines. Not quite 'no-sell' but he can still operate after being shot, and even stabbed.

He has a pretty similar feat in the beginning of his The Hunted arc, has a damn good bullet-timing feat in his 4th annual, aim-dodged 30+ bullets at once in another annual, has blocked bullets both with his staff and sword on separate occasions, was once sitting in a car when he was fired upon by three gunmen and made his way out of the car and killed his assailants without getting hit, blatantly perceived multiple bullets late in his first solo-series, Cassandra Cain said he was faster than herself, and he's blitzed a handful of bullet-timers.

He can do it, but I'm not sure I'd call it casual. I'd say these are somewhat accurate tiers (excluding clear superhumans).

Casual Bullet-Timer: Deathstroke, Cassandra Cain, Katana, Deadshot, Prometheus, Ozymadias, Taskmaster, Daredevil, Elektra

Bullet-Timer: Batman, Captain America, Nightwing, Red Hood, Winter Soldier, The Question, Ravager

I think your casual bullet timers should be bumped down to just bullet timers, and your bullet timers should be bumped down to just aim dodgers. "Casual" is not the word I would use to describe the feats of those characters. Also, Daredevil and Elektra are not real bullet timers at all, and I don't think Taskmaster and Deadshot are (Deadshot has one, single bullet timing feat).

Basically, all that's required for 'casual' bullet-timing is perceiving and reacting to a bullet distinctly after it was fired with apparent ease. I don't know what to call the super high-end bullet-timing we see in guys like Iron Fist, Midnighter, and Spider-Man, but there is a noticeable difference in there.

I do think he is, but he isn't a casual one, when im thinking of casual bullet timer's im thinking of someone like Spidey, which Bruce clearly isn't on par. I think he is a very casual aim doger/bullet timer.
